I so very much appreciate your understanding and generosity. I really don't do all that much.
However when it comes to content you have a better understanding of the program than I.

Thank you for posting your recipes.
You always provide full nutrition information, so it is easy to calculate the WW points. (not like me....smile... I do not provide nutrition info most ot the time.....)
Don't worry about moving them to the food categories. I'll move them to the appropriate categories, unless you want to do it yourself.

You are such a great leader and you're doing so much for our team, so thank you for posting the recipes the way you do.

Members see much faster your healthy and delicious recipes the way you do it now. I'll look at your blogs and move those I haven't moved yet.
I'll figure the WW points for each recipe.

I'm so glad you figured out that our reipes are on the first forum.
The title there used to be our RECIPES, but Spark People decided to have it later as a chat forum.
There are two sticky topics on the first forum. When you have the time, enjoy reading them and see the treasure of recipes and much more that we provide there.

Good question. When I post a recipe, I try to keep it on my thread as they are not WW specific, for the most part. If the leaders who do the recipes approve, or would like to use them I have always left it at that. I put a sticky as a stand alone. However, it would be better to put them under my chat thread. Many times lately, I have been a bit stressed and posted in the wrong thread anyway. It has been my preference to blog my recipes, but with everyone being so busy, I haven't been able to keep up as I should.
I will be more than happy to clarify what I can, if I have muddied the waters more. emoticon

This sounds so good!
Will try it next week.

If you like rice try cooking long grain brown rice in very strong black tea, salt and lemon zest.
This surprised me. It was fantastic! Had it for breakfast topped with fresh stewed apples.

Compliments of Diabetic Living

1 (141/2-ounce) can fat-free reduced-sodium vegetable or chicken broth
3/4 cup uncooked brown rice or brown basmati rice
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts , toasted.

*To toast walnuts, spread in a single layer on baking sheet.
Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently.

1. Combine broth, rice, water, and salt in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat.
Reduce heat. Cover. Simmer 20 minutes.

2. Stir in cranberries and cinnamon, if desired. Cover. Simmer 20-25 minutes or until rice is
tender. Sprinkle with walnuts before serving.

Makes 5 1/3 cup servings

Calories 172, Total Fat 5 g, Saturated Fat 1g, Protein 3 g, Carbohydrate 29 g, Cholesterol
