I just came back after being away more than two weeks. 5 POUNDS UP! I'm working on it already and I'll loose those 5 pounds!!!
In hot days I drink more iced water, but because I love beans and grains so much, I do eat heavy meals all year long. I like using my slow cooker, so the kitchen doesn't get hot.
That means hot chilis, steel cut oats, recipes with beans and grains.
But, I watch the carbs and PORTIONS and make sure that I have a balanced meal on my plate.
The beans and grains are my protein most days. I like vegetarian meals, although I'm not a vegetarian (yet...smile...)
Today I'm too tired. We flew on red eye flight and I didn't sleep....
Tomorow I'll plan the whole week menu and go shopping for vegies (lots), fruits (much less), etc...
