It is an asset not to be hindered by our past. However, It is a possibility that you learned some useful life lessons along the way which have made attaining your goals easier. emoticon

I am glad you resolved the issues that were holding you back. Sometimes there are things which happened and the present result affects our well-being, self confidence, ability to refrain from old coping mechanisms etc. Now you are off in a new direction, growing, as you become the person you want to be. emoticon emoticon

I realized a good while back I was a product of my past!
That's why I took the class "Making Peace With Your Past". It is a 12-wk, class. I learndt so much. I feel I have come a long way; with a ways to go. But, I will get there!

We are all products of our past. Change is not easy. Those who have chosen to make changes to live healthier, will often find that something is creating a block. Usually, it is something from the past. Sometimes, we are unaware of the block.

Choice one: Use your past experience as a positive resource.
Choice two: Be a victim, and remain stuck.

Reflection: Do you believe your past is a factor in making the changes you want to make.

Challenge: How can you make your past life experiences work for you?
