Congratulations to all of you! Our members are dedicated to the journey of health.
Losing the weight is always a result of following a healthy plan.


On the second half of 2009 I would like to lose 3 pounds so I'll be back at my ultimum lowest weight goal.
I didn't reach this goal and the 1st half of 2009.
As far as eating healthy, I'm so happy the way I eat now.
I'll increase my exercise in the 2nd half of 2009.

I still don't see any difference between the stage of losing the weight and maintenance.
In order to STAY at maintenance i need to do exactly what I did to lose the weight.
Surprise... surprise...smile...

I'm going for a fantastic 2nd half of 2009!



I'll celebrate 10 years of maintenance on July 2nd, 2014!

I'm a little disappointed in my weight loss so fqar this year, however it could have been a lot worse. I lost 50 pounds last year, got married and quit smoking. Since my wedding I had gained back a little more than 1/2 of what I lost. I knew I would gain weight with the quit but I think I actually gave myself permission to eat instead of smoke. Have to say....my OLD self would have gained it all back and then some. I made myself get back on track and I am happy with my results so far!!!

20 lbs is great. It took me 2 years to lose my first 50 lbs, then another 2 to get where I am today, which is actually 5 lbs lower than my ticker says:)

I've been very happy with 2009 as far as my weight maintenance. I started out badly, having good weeks, then eating terribly on the weekends. I got myself back on track and have been making healthy choices, running a lot and feeling much better.

I joined sparks in 2006, I believe. I didn't get serious until last December. Since then I've lost 27 lbs. I'm a turtle when it comes to weight loss....but I've been diligent in staying with the program, so I'm happy that I am losing. I now realize that I probably won't reach goal until the end of this year....which is OK. If I keep my eye on the prize, I know I'll succeed!!

When I started in January I was thinking I would be at goal by now. Back then if someone was to tell me that I would have lost ONLY 20 pounds by now I would of been disappointed. Its been a real struggle. I have done everything that I could and at this point I'm happy. I think, WOW, I've lost 20 pounds! I feel so so much better. Yes, I'm losing it really slow but I'm satisfied most days. I have way more energy. I eat so many more healthy foods. So I'm truly happy about the first half and I'm looking forward to the second half. I wish you all a terrific "rest of 2009". Lets finish up this year going strong.

If not, ABSOLUTELY GREAT, because you cought it just in time! NOW! in the 2nd half of 2009.
Evaluate what caused you to slip, the situation, and where it might have occured.
See that you can learn from your slip.

REMEMBER!!!
Slips should teach you, not defeat you!

Forgive! Forget! and Move on!
