You get a superior grade, and so is everyone else who work on increasing the number of mostly vegetables and the colors.

I did well yesterday. I also go for more colors.
I WANT to work on getting more GREEN COLOR with GREENS. I'm doing well with spinach.
I want to learn to like more kale, swiss chard and other greens.
They taste bitter for me.

Today: 7-9 vegetables and fruits. MORE colors!

I had a lot of fruits and veggies yesterday. So many I was stuffed and the scales are down today!

I'm trying to work in lots of color - I had a banana, carrots, raspberries, green beans, a salad, tomatoes and some green pepper.

I'm doing better today. I had corn on the cob, 2 nectarines, a plum, baby carrots, and celery.

Yesterday I got in 8. Today so far I have 6...banana, cherries, strawberries, 3cups of a lettuce and veggie salad top with a cup of my tomato, cucumber and red onion salad.
I will be having carrot and celery sticks, cauliflower and broccoli this evening.

Unless you count popcorn as corn, I haven't made my goal yet. No veggies today (I can't believe it!!)and for fruits I had: 2 nectarines, a plum, and loads of grapes (at least 2 servings of them). I'm going to pick up some cucumbers & baby carrots tomorrow to keep in the house for snacking. Geesh!

Today I have eaten: Tomato, carrots, lettuce, celery, cucumber, banana, cantaloupe, bing cherries, and grapes.

I'm aiming today for 10 total and already had 8.
I've eaten tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, letuce, cauliflower, mushrooms, blubberies, cherries, plum.

I will have eaten 11 veggies and/or fruits today. I have eaten blue (blueberries), red (tomatoes), orange (squash & carrots) green (salad), white (apple).

Getting in my veggies is easy, I am a vegetarian. I need to challenge myself to eat my servings of fruit. I love fruit, but I don't have it everday. Now I will focus on that.

I'm definitely up for this challenge. It will really be a challenge for me too. I can always fit more fruit in, but some days even 5 is hard for me. 7 will really be something to shoot for.

Forget the '5 a day'!
Challenge yourself to eat 7-9 servings of VEGETABLES and Fruits daily.
Go for MORE servings of vegetables than fruits, just because they are lower in calories and sugar.

How much is enough? While the newest recommendations are for 7-9 servings a day, most people find it a daily challenge to get the basic 5 fruits and/or veggies a day.
We are going for 7-9 servings daily! That is the challenge for JULY!

Remember that a serving is based on 1/2 to 1 cup amounts - and not your serving. Peeling a grapefruit and eating it whole, in sections? That's 2 servings. A big bowl of salad that's 2 cups of greens - that's 2 servings.

With summer here, it's a great time to focus on COLORFUL fruits and vegetables as a major part of your diet.

For ACCOUNTABILITY:
Celebrate each day you mastered this challenge.
