Why is it that everyone assumes that slipping off program means you're a bad person? It just means you are unprepared to face a certain situation.
A slip is an opportunity to decide what you will do the next time that situation comes up (and it will).
Will power needs to be directed at something else rather than gutting out a desire for cheetos or second helpings. Call a fellow dieter and weep. (Ever hear the phrase 200 pound telephone?) A regular person will just say "if you don't want to eat it, don't", which drives most of us back to the cheetos; call a fellow dieter. She can help you throw food down the disposal. Do SOMETHING POSITIVE, and you won't have to beat up on yourself.
Every slip is a learning opportunity if you take it. The one thing it is NOT, is proof that you are hopeless.
No one ever got up in the morning wishing she'd eaten more the night before.
