Oh great, my diet is doomed this month. I work retail, the evening shifts at the store I work at, which means I can be getting home anywhere from midnight till 2 am (depends on the manager, the deposit working out, etc.) My 3 & 5 year olds don't know the meaning of sleeping in, LOL, so I'm up by 7-8 each morning.

Thank goodness my hubby is so wonderful, and lets me sleep in on the weekends. Unfortunately, I don't think that's gonna fix all the sleep I lose during the week during the holiday season. UGH

But I sure try! I think Thursday night, I might get into bed around 8! emoticon

Wonderful article. If I don't get enough sleep at night I can take a nap during the day. Is this just as good? I know everyone is not that fortunate. I don't work outside the home.

Thanks Mimi. I find that sleep deprevation leads to feeling depressed which makes it harder to stick to any discipline, from saying No to the wrong foods to saying no to that extra pair of shoes.

We have a saying in another Program, HALT. That means not to let yourself get to hungry, angry, lonely or tired. Any one of them can lead to error.

I agree Mimi my doctors said that I MUST have at least 7 hrs, so I believe it. Even though mine was for the heart.
