I just realized that when I eat honey-whole wheat pretzels (every evening!), I eat from the BIG BAG!!!
I do know that 10 pieces are 2 points, but I'm sure I eat more than 10! (I forget how to count when needed...smile...)

New technique:

I'll FIRST count 10 pieces, put them on the plate and then eat.

This is a great tip. I like it!

Ok, that caused me to seal up the bag of yogurt-covered raisins that I was happily eating out of. I will serve out a few more, and put the bag AWAY.

Never eat from the source
From Outwit your Weight by Nonas

Food that's packaged in a large bag, can, box or container is treacherous.
There is no way to measure how much of it you're eating, and you're likely to eat far more than one serving.

To know exactly how much you're eating and to become more conscious of portion size, measure out one serving of the chips, beer nuts, ice cream, cheesecake, or whatever and put it in a dish or on a plate.
