Sorry it took me so long. Decided I'd try a search online and here is the recipe I mentioned. It's really good.

I LOVE squash! But have never tried spaghetti squash. All the preparations sound wonderful. I am going to get one next time I go to the store!

Funny you should bring up spaghetti squash today. I cooked it years ago to use with sauce instead of pasta. I got such negitive response that I only made it twice. My kids still tell me how awful it was.

With getting ready for Thanksgiving, my husband, said he likes spaghetti squash with tomato sauce and I should cook it again.

With the kids moving on, I will start buying it again.

I'll try to look it up, but years ago we had a recipe using spaghetti squash that was for a "mock coconut cream pie". There was no crust and the squash gave the coconut crunch. It used coconut flavoring and was very good.

Sometimes I make my own sauce, and sometimes I use
a jar of spagetti sauce, and add my own meat, which is usually ground turkey.

I tried this for the first time about 2 months ago and have gotten it one other time since then. I eat it like Grannyof05...I use it with spaghetti sauce. I'll have to try it as a dessert too. That sounds different.

I love spagetti squash too.

I eat it in place of pasta with
Spagetti meat sauce on it. I think it taste just as good as pasta without all the calories.

I discovered something great!
SPAGHETTI SQUASH!

It is NOT a starchy vegetable, so you can eat in on Weight Watchers Core plan without any limits every day.

I cook in the oven 2 large spaghetti squashes ( I ask in the produce department to cut them in half for me. They do it with no extra charge) until soft and discard the seeds.
With a tablespoon, I scoop out the spaghetti squash and refrigirate for the whole week.

4 cups are only 1 point!!! (that's what WW told me but I think it's 2 points)

Nutirition infromation:

1 cup = 35 calories
1 g protein
0.5 fat
7 g carbs
1 g fiber
15 mg sodium

I use it in two ways:

1) heat it up, spray with I can't believe it's butter spray and sprinke a little of grated parmesan cheese.

2) Strange, but I like it..... as dessert...
Heat it up and add splenda, cinnamon and a little sugar free, fat free pancake syrup ( 1/4 cup = 25 calories).

I'll use it now a LOT in the winter.

Thoughts?

Mimi
