Today was the beginning of my second week here, so I finally managed to psych myself into standing on those dreaded scales. I've managed to go a full week without even missing chocolate, junk food or even soft drink (did have one Zero the other night while out for dinner, but that's it). Somehow I'd convinced myself that since I hadn't been hungry once this week, it meant I hadn't lost any weight, but thankfully - and only after getting off and on the scales several times - I realized that I'd lost 2lb.!

I changed the day I weigh from the 1st to the 21st so it won't be a full month this month. That's okay, I had been in starvation mode before SP and was hoping that eating at the top of my range in January might ramp up my weight loss. That doesn't appear to be the case at all and this month I plan to eat at the bottom of my range to see if that helps at all.

January 23rd - 174.6 lbs., down 1.2 lbs. from my January 1st weigh in.

Good afternoon all - I started January 6 so today was my first weigh in. I am very happy to report I am down 2 lbs!!! I am going to change my weigh in day to Sundays and it just is a better day for me to do it.

I only weigh monthly so I hope that's okay for posting here - I didn't read the original post when I posted last month and thought that's what this thread was for, lol! December 1st - 179.8 pounds, down 4.6 from my November weigh in.

As an aside, I'd just like to say that monthly weigh in has been a godsend for me, 4.6 pounds in a month seems pretty good but if I had to watch it happen on a weekly basis it would be excruciating. I weigh and take "beginning and after" pics on the first and take measurements on the 15th, it's a system that keeps me motivated without causing too much stress.

well i said i would be back come good or bad. i did lose just not what i was thinking .2lbs is not a good week it's just barely moving. i felt i had a good week,but just cause it was a good week doesnt mean the scale is going to be nice. hoping for a better wi next week. will let you know. emoticon

Well I at least I dropped back to my 8/12 weight. was hoping I would be below 160 ( so I could treat myself and buy something new) I set a goal that every 5 lbs. I lose I would treat myself. Last time it was a pair of socks with dots on them and ever so soft.

emoticon Not my best month!!! I was bad! This was the first time I gained consistently in the 16 months I have been on this adventure, company, vacations, and just plan low effort to say NO. Home all summer baking good stuff-and chips too. September is coming and I am back on board!!!!! Vacation is over!

Okay, here are the statistics for July:

We had 7 reporting their final weight for July. Only 1 had a temporary weight gain and 6 lost weight. Of the 6 who reported a loss, 4 people lost the biggest amount of 3 pounds. Starting weight July 27th - 170
August 3rd - 168.6
August 10th - 166.8 (-1.8) Yay!
August 17th - 166.2 (-.6) At least it's going in the right direction.
August 24th - 165.2 (-1) Was definitely not expecting this! Did little exercise and went over on calories 3 days this week. Wow!
August 31st - 165.2 Considering how badly I ate this week, and how little exercise I got, I am glad to just not have gained.

Total for the month: -3.8 Nearly a pound a week. I'm calling it a win!
