Dare you before you get discouraged for not loosing to measure yourself today and then when you want to blow it.... remeasure... do that for 3 weeks instead of weighing or eating then report how many inches or partial inches you have changed!!!
If you want to measure more often, ok but remember it is week to week that counts. I have gone from 43 waist down to a firm 37 (even after eating two meals!!). Sometimes inches move as you lose in one area and put muscle on in another!
Just measure each week for three weeks. In between measures don't count unless held or increased by measure date.
Me: 2-18-2012 6" off @ 37" today!!!
