I recently started using water weights and I absolutely love them! I get in the pool with them and work out while I chat with the gals and before I know it an hour has gone by and I've been exercising non-stop. Wow - where have these been all my life! I'm excited because I never thought I'd find exercise I really enjoy - and I've tried just about everything. I used to like to go hiking with DH but I've had a bad bursa on my right hip joint for years that I aggravated with a fall last summer so hiking is out for a good while now. For anyone who hates regimented exercise and has access to a pool, try the water weights - you may find them to be a good alternative as you can do both aerobic exercise and strength training with them.
