Thank you that is what I did yesterday and I walked for 30 mins and it was ok to go by myself. It felt good to be on my feet.It actually just felt good and I was so proud of myself Yay !!!! On my way !! WooHoo!!

From experience, I know that you could ask 500 people to walk with you and not have a taker. If you ask someone already walking, you might have a partner. Just go out and walk, you might have someone notice and want to walk with you. I don't have a walking partner. It's hard to find someone your fitness level, also.

Go with the flow and see what works.

I think that I should try the walking on my lunch hour as nobody here wants to get going either. I know it is hard to believe but when we are not waiting on customers everyone just wants to eat and play on the computer....I am doomed sometimes.

Maybe you could walk on your lunch hour or go up and down the stairs. Do you have a fitness program at work? That would help you, too.

thank you so much. I am pretty much just starting out. I sit at a desk all day and then I get home and my husband wants to sit and watch TV so I guess I am going to go it alone here. But I really want to change and be healthy. So I am going to start with the 30 x 3 and see how it goes. I am also going to get out of my seat at work and move around...thank you ladies !!

Kim, everyone iis welcome here. If you're just starting out or not exercising at all, 30 minutes, 3 xs/week is ok, but if you're used to exercise it isn't enough. Good luck and keep moving.

Hi Ladies !!
I am new and just getting going today. So I tried to catch up with all the comments and I believe it is 30 mins exercise 3 x's a week. no eating after 8, a dime for every point and 8 glasses of water per day. Oh I hope it is ok if I join? I am sorry I just invited myself.
