You don't need a board for zumba or just dance 2. I do the zumba one, too and there is a zumba belt that you put the remote inside. I find that my arms get sore with Just Dance 2, but I can't stop, it is so much fun. My grandson likes to do it with me. One dance in Just Dance 2 I can't get above 2 stars no matter what I do, but most of the others I'm up to at least 4 stars.

I have Just Dance, Just Dance 2 and Zumba. My heart rate monitor shows that I burn a lot more calories doing a 45 minute Zumba class vs. Just Dance for the same amount of time. I usually do a Zumba class and then follow it up with about 30 minutes of Just Dance 2 or Walk it Out--which is another Wii game I love!

I'm with LASAREE...modify the exercise if you need to, and just do what your body can handle.

I have Just Dance 2, Zumba, DDR3 and Just Dance. I find that they are all great calorie burners. I set DDR3 for 100 calorie burn which turns into a lot more on my heart monitor. Then I go to Just Dance 2 and set it for workout mode which is the sweat meter and, I believe it is 4 songs. I like just dance because I like the songs. Zumba makes you go through a bunch of training sessions to get to the main stuff and I have finished that part yet.

As far as knees with any of them, just do as much as you can do. I find they all put in a lot of the moves you would do with a normal workout.

When using Just Dance 2--can you just do it on the floor or do you need the board? I bought Zumba but have not opened it yet. Does anyone have Zumba? Do you think Just Dance 2 is better for calorie burning then Zumba? Are both of these dances ok for people that have trouble with their knees and or back? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I love it too! Bought it for my 10 year old daughter last Christmas and realized very quickly that I could burn tons of calories and not feel like I was working out because it was so much fun! Here it is 7 months later...and while I do use other Wii games for exercise, I still use JD2 at least 3x a week. I can't believe I still enjoy it!

I have pre-ordered Just Dance 3 which comes out this fall. Can't wait!

I love Just Dance 2! I try to do 3-4 songs a day. I read somewhere that if you take the sweat points and divide them by 11.5, it is very close to the actual calorie burn.
