I would say they are more updated, I found the 2nd version a lot easier to get into, but that may be because I had a lot of trouble with the cord and it drove me crazy. They have biking and soccer stuff, etc. in the 2nd that I didn't notice on the 1st. I liked the exercises on the 2nd one much better.

EA Active and The Biggest Loser are the BEST workout games i have come across for people that want to jump in and sweat. They can get hard so take it slow but those 2 games are like 90% responsible for my weight loss.. i followed both the plans at the same time .. Probably shouldnt have lol but it worked wonders. I'm sad i bought my EA active when it was 99 bucks! enjoy the 27 dollars lol Get in there and sweat!
Wow! I just realized that EA Sports Active 2 is a way better than the EA More Workouts that I love. The wireless systems are just great, and there's an online support as well! Wow... Definitely hooked on this one! Thanks all, for the information.
Thanks guys!! I found it on amazon.com for $27 so I purchased it...excited to get it and see what kind of a change it makes. I have been using Wii Fit Plus, but I have kind of pushed myself past that...I need something that will challenge me a little more...hoping this will be it...Thanks again!

Active 2 is awesome. The heart rate monitor really helps you push yourself and the leg sensor strap is awesome.
I have used Active 2 now for about 4 weeks and it is an awesome workout! I love this Wii program. I feel a major difference in my fitness level, and with the heart rate monitor you can see yourself getting healthier. My resting heart rate is down from when I started and I am not half dead when I finish a workout anymore. LOL! I have a real sense of accomplishment seeing my stats improve over the weeks. I exercise with this program 4x a week for 30-35 minutes. I have to change the AAA batteries in the sensors about every three weeks at this pace. You will be able to tell when you need to change the batteries because the sensor starts 'skipping' and your Mii doesn't react the way it is supposed too anymore. Oh, and the Mii looks like a real person not the funny ones you use in the other games. You do get to 'customize' your Mii in this one too.
Hope this helps. I think for the price it is an awesome deal.
