Working and being a student leaves almost no time to drive to a gym, workout and drive home. So I got a wii with the wii fit...last Sunday. Spent the 3 out of 5 days using it.
I found the short stints to be good at first but wanted something a bit longer.

Today I got EA SA 2 with a few other games that came with it.
Got home and put it in...I love EA SA 2!
Started my 3 week challenge since I haven't truly exercised in years.
20 minutes and no complaints. Love the schedule and the tracking features.
Looking forward to seeing results from EA SA 2.

I love playing with my wii. emoticon

So to all of you that have done or are currently doing the 9 week training program for EA SA2, do you guys workout on the off days?

After reading the comments here, I decided to try the EA Sports Active 2. Got the game yesterday, set it up this morning, and finished my first workout. Wow! I love it. I feel like I got a great workout. Unfortunately I forgot to write down how many calories I supposedly burned and not quite sure which exercise to log it under. Guess I'll figure it out. lol.....

I traded in some games I never play and got the wii active 2 for free at gamestop but .... was disappointed to learn the online community has been shutdown. But, it does look like a GREAT game!

I am looking forward to getting this game tomorrow. I have been using the ea sports but the 2 has the heart monitor and just looks more comprehensive. I suppose the team is on the ea sports active 2 website? I'll give it a try once I get it. I'm excited about trying this!

I use AE's NFL training workout, I really like it. Been thinking of getting the Plain AE workout, if for nothing else than the controler bands. Which is better, 1, 2, or the extra workouts?

Woohoo! Completed the 9 week program in EASA2 with no missed workouts!!

I am going to take a couple weeks off from the 'structured' programs (my knees need a recovery!). Plus holidays, I'd rather just do WIO, Exerbeat, dance, or other stuff.

But I did get myself a (pre-owned) copy of My Fitness Coach, and I will try it starting in the new year. (Christmas present).

Earned the Fitness Expert award today for 50 workouts in EASA2.

Just 5 more workouts to finish phase 3 of the 90 day challenge.

After that, I think I am going to look for My Fitness Coach, I heard it is good too.

I just ordered this online! No idea how long shipping will take (it came from kind of a weird website; I emailed their customer service to ask though) but I can't wait for it to get here. I've seen demos of it and it looks like so much fun!! I'm glad it produces results too!!

Today was the first day of Phase 3 of the 90 day program. I was so worried that it was going to be suddenly a killer workout, but it was really only mildly harder than the last workout. I still haven't missed any of my scheduled workouts!

I just finished Phase 1 of the 90 day program, no missed workouts! Yeah, me!

I do EASA2 4 days a week (MTuThF), as that is the program. On Wednesday and Saturday, I do Exerbeat. I also do Walk It Out all six days, after I do the other program for the day.

Just restarted my profile( Our old Wii crashed from Netflix being used) and am starting with the cardio kicks tart program, but was wondering what combination of the other workout programs the game offers you guys are using. I hadn't tried them before and was just wondering how other are incorporating the other workout programs into their routines. Thanks :D

I just got EA Sports Active 2 yesterday, and I love it already.

I did the setup and the first workout last night, and did the second workout this morning.
I started with the Cardio Kickstart, and I picked Easy -- but it still challenges me emoticon

Nice to read that there might be a group, I skipped that part in the setup, but I will try it next time I am on.

I like the way it mixes thinks up, with the fun little games, and the true exercises. I had one trouble, but it was my fault -- I mixed up right and left. And the remote time out thing.

I do have a question -- how do you put the handles on the elastic band?

Hi there my name is Sam, I just joined the sparksters group emoticon I've had the game for a couple of months now and while I think it gives me a great workout, sometimes I need a push to use it. I'm hoping joining the group will do that! I just completed a 25 min workout on hard and I feel great.

I got EA Sports Active 2 on my PS3 due to the fact that I no longer have the privacy I want (and need) to comfortably work out in the living room with the wii anymore. I tried to join the group but it tells me that the workout group cannot be found. After several attempts I've come to the conclusion that for whatever reason, the PS3 and wii groups are separate. Anyone know for sure on that? It would be nice to be able to play with everyone else!

I haven't had the remote time out on me yet, but I do have a fit board and if you tell it you have one and one of the exercises in your workout needs it it has to stay connected the whole time. It times out pretty quickly so that is kind of annoying. I just finished workout 3 of week 1 of the 9 week challenge. AWESOME!

I even got my youngest daughter set up on the game. She wanted to try it out. I think she had fun (mostly showing her mom up about how much more in shape she is) LOL!

Definitely join the Sparksters MamaBoomBoom! It is motivating to see your stats up on the board with others and to see each others accomplishments. emoticon

Yeah mama I know what you mean! The remote going off does get annoying but I sweat a bit during all my workouts so I'm happy I bought this game. The heart rate monitor alone makes me happy enough to be able to see.

You should join our SP workout group on sports active 2. The info is below if you are interested ;D

I love Active 2. The workouts totally exhaust me. I am midway through Phase 1 of the 9 week challenge. The timing out of the remote is totally annoying but the workout is so good for me so I keep coming back.

Picked up my game on Saturday morning. Did a 25 minute workout on Saturday Afternoon. What an amazing program! It was a blast! If anyone is looking for a really awesome workout this program is it! I did another 27 minute workout on Sunday. It is all I can do! I am totally wiped out! I am sore this morning, but in a good way. I feel like I really did something (which I did!). I have another workout tonight! I am looking forward to it - I can't believe I said that about exercise! Definitely worth the money. Love the heart rate monitor that comes with it too. Keeps me in 'the zone'.

Wow this is awesome that we got a few people interested now!

Firstly you guys don't have to stick to a schedule. The workout groups purposes are to share what we do with our group and we can see each others milestones etc. You can just come on anytime, workout and the rest of the team can get motivated seeing each others hard work :)

I created the team for all who are interested!

Name: Sparksters

Anyone is welcome to join! :)

I totally love EA Sports Active 2, as well. (There are a few things that bug me, like the Wii remote timing out on occasion, but other than that I think it's fantastic!)

I'm trying to get a new job that doesn't have me on the road so much, so when I do, I would definitely join an EA Sports Active 2 workout group. Because my schedule is kind of erratic, I can't follow a regular schedule with the "game".

I absolutely LOVE this game. I have been playing it for about 3 weeks and I am already seeing serious results. I don't just mean in weight loss either...I can tell form the HRM that I am definitely getting fitter. I love being able to adjust every workout myself and I have even made a workout so I have a trail to run while I do C25K lol...I really like the workout groups the most and I know I've asked before but got no response here so if anyone would like to start a SP workout group with me please let me know! :)
