Linda and I were emailing and we both agreed that we are really excited about this challenge. For myself I've been off track (just a little) for such a long time that I know I need to get back to basics and I can do it for 17 days so just wanted to tell you that thinking up this idea for a challenge was so wonderful and timely. The part that hit me the most was reminding us that if we slacked off into the holidays we would be unhappy campers come January (my words) So I just wanted to say Thank you!!!!

I am IN and started officially yesterday on Cycle 1.... not going to get off-track... and in that first day, lost what I gained plus .5 lbs! I'm thrilled... that's what I wanted... 6 more lbs to go to get that first 100 lbs! Then on to the next!
So excited about the 17 Day Diet. It has truly taught me new ways of eating and being healthy. Although I've not followed the daily cycles since I finished Cycle 2 at the start, I do tend to choose only foods from all three cycles. I incorporate the added carbs as I can and we are living a 17 DD Inspired life! Getting us to goal!

************** There is MUCH discussion today about letting ourselves get OFF-track, distracted, discouraged, complacent, name your own adjective. Is this really the way we want to head into the holidays?? Think about the way we feel in January, if/when we've completely blown it over the past month or two of holidays. WE need to pull together as a team, and help each other have victories in these days/weeks to come! What better way to kick off this holiday season, than a CHALLENGE!!
OUR challenge is simple!! Some time between today (Nov. 1) and Monday (Nov. 5), COMMIT to 17 days of compliance... on whichever cycle you choose (C1-C3) - ANY cycle will bring you great results, IF you comply with the rules, including 17 mins. of exercise DAILY (even breaking up the 17 mins. into two 8.5 min. chunks is compliant!! Let yourself FEEL the success of 100% compliance! You will not even believe it until you DO it!
17 minutes, 17 days = SUCCESSFUL start to the holiday season, and whether you start today, or Monday (11/5) you will have 17 days to WORK it, before Thanksgiving Day!!
We hope to have as many as possible participate in this challenge, and share our challenges and victories with each other!
