Walked all over but didn't track it at the county pharmacy today and then at work. Although, I wasn't working, just stopped by why I waited on the pharmacy:)
You have to track them in the Quick Track in order for it to count towards the Sacramento points. If you notice on the right side of the Quick Track it says, "Spark America".
I track my minutes in the cardio portion of my tracker -- doesn't that make them count? Can I do both the Quick Track & the cardio section?

Well we are up to the 31st place again, but we could do better! Please post your fitness minutes in the Quick Track on the top left of your "my fitness" page so your minutes will count towards "Spark America", thank you:)
Yes you can! Just change the date at the top of the tracker for the days you want and then post it, on your fitness tracker. We are now 24th place! Woohoo!

Thank you! Do you know if I can post retroactively? I had a bunch of fitness minutes last week...

In order for you fitness minutes to count towards the team minutes, you have to log them in the Quick Track on your Start page. It's the orange box, on the top left, and it says Spark America. I don't know if you can log them in on your phone, but I am pretty sure you can. Your regular fitness tracker is separate from the Quick Track, so if you don't have time to log in your exercise on your fitness tracker, just log them on the quick track so they will count. Thanks for participating! I am really excited to see Sacramento get in the top ten:)

Good morning! I have a few questions... It will be easy for me to type in my weekly exercise minutes here (I'll go to my fitness tracker to check) but how do I get the team minutes? I'll add that one in too, if someone will fill me in. Is it one of those really obvious things that I just overlook somewhere on my fitness tracker page? Do the minutes I log onto my fitness tracker get automatically counted for my team? What about minutes I log in using the iPhone Spark People app? Do they get counted? I'm going camping next week, and I'll definitely count my hiking minutes and I would like them to count if I log them in via my phone. Thanks to anyone who can clarify for me!

June is here, and Sacramento is currently listed as the #35 healthy city on SparkAmerica.com city leader boards. I know the recent rains the first of the month have kept many us from getting out and exercising. But the good weather is coming, so please take the time to track your exercise so we can push our city up to the top 20, or top 10!
Let's keep on tracking our minutes, and if you have time please include here as well!!!

I want to reach the 10,000 exercise minutes mark, but I have been so un-motivated lately to do anything! I can barely get out of bed lately. I didn't do anything yesterday-but I want to change that today! I hope later I can post some exercise minutes to this board! Any suggestions on how to get re-motivated???
Sorry to be so behind here. I'll post more frequently through the end of the month. I see my home projects are really adding up minutes on the weekend. I did the math in smaller groups, and added everything twice. Here goes...
me exercise: 20 minutes team exercise: 1244 minutes
Don't copy and paste this part: Only the top part, ok?
( copy the last post, posted, then click 'reply', paste the last post, change the #'s on 'me exercise' to your #'s, press enter, add those to the team exercise minutes, then change the team exercise minute like I did for my exercise, i.e. team exercise was 1224, I did 20 minutes today of exercise, so I added my 20 minutes to teh 1224 and posted 1244) Hope I explained this ok!! If not, I'll try again:)

Thanks XTMONT!
It would be easier to post something like this:
5/10
exercise: 120 team exercise: 318
This is just an example, then copy and paste the last post, in your post, and put in your own number of minutes of exercise, then add them to the team minutes.

Wen you click on "My fitness" tab, the top left says, " Quicktracks" with the SparkAmerica logo to the right. You can put in your fitness minutes and what you did, then click "Save" and it will count toward Sacramento's total fitness minutes.
For the challenge, I would like everyone to just put in their fitness minutes, andthen add those to the team minutes in this discussion thread.
I hope everyone understands, I'm trying to explain it as clearly as I can, I wish I could just show everyone what I mean:)
The numbers are how many exercise minutes you did in a day. I walked for 45 minutes yesterday, and then add the 45 to the team total, which since we just started is 0, so team exercise total is also 45.
my exercise: 45 minutes on 5/8 team exercise: 0 + 45 = 45 minutes
