Liked this challenge since it allowed me to include other dance games (other than JD 1, 2, &3). Just got the Zumba's for Christmas and let me play them for a challenge. Great!

This was a great challenge. emoticon for setting it up for us HotLexis!

Next time let's be more helpful, gang. emoticon

emoticon If you post your 'score sheet' only once, and then go back and edit it each day, HotLexis will only have to keep track of the total number of score sheets, and not have to double check to see if some players' scores are on one sheet and also on another.

Of course, you are welcome to make other posts on the thread to make comments, asks questions, whatever...just be sure that you have ONLY ONE score sheet.

emoticon And especially since she may send us weekly updates, it is important to tally your scores each time, so that she doesn't have to subtotal each player's points in order to total the team scores.

OK just updated my minutes. I've been keeping track of them at home but was naughty and not updating them. So I've now done that WooHoo! This was a great challenge, can't wait for the next one!

Sorry Team. I started out great. I injured myself and sprained my ankle two years ago when I fell off the Wii board doing EA Active Sports challenges. My ankle never completely healed. I think all of the dancing I've been doing this month caused it to swell up again.

I've been doing weight training exercises but have been afraid to try and dance on the foot. I am going to try and get some time in tomorrow and Tuesday for the team.

I updated my time danced chart lower down in the thread but wanted everyone to know I just didn't quit. I want our team to win!

Hey everybody, I hope I did not let my team down this week. I have been sick and the other morning and got up and passed out and blacked my eye and hurt my shoulder. I am doing much better though. I did zumba today, I just did not move my arms as fast or as high lol.
Hope to do better by team HL next week.

Krista-A-Girl I get stressed if I don't make the goal. If I skip out on a day I'll go double time or triple time when I do get back in the groove to make my goal. I feel much better when I do.

emoticon Tina! I'm glad you were able to dance! Tweaking the knees hurts so bad, yikes.

I finally stopped the craziness of creating a challenge for myself in the Just Sweat portion. Argh! All it takes is one click, and I feel like I'm tied into it for a whole week! Yesterday I did the original Just Dance instead and it was so fun :-) Tomorrow Just Dance 3 is due in the mail, and I can't wait! emoticon

I've been under the weather, but I'm back now! Although, Your Shape for the Kinect just got here in the mail and it was pretty hard to dance today when that was waiting for me!

I have to ask, does anyone else get held accountable by the Just Sweat part of the games that have it? Holy cow, I stress out if I don't make it. I guess that's a good thing, right? :-)

Are you ready to get the party started in 2012? If not, then our first team challenge should get you in the mood.

The January 2012 team challenge is “Just Dance”. This challenge will be familiar to those that completed it as a weekly challenge. “Just Dance” was selected as our first team challenge because any Wii dance game can be used and it promotes consistency.

DESCRIPTION: A dance contest to see which team dances the longest.

DURATION: January 1 - January 31

RULES: Each participant will post your time AND dance game each day. Do not round your time up (45 min & 50 sec should be recorded as 45 min, not 46). Please edit your original post to track your progress and update the monthly total. February 1 is the last day to post your times.

GOALS: Below are the suggested individual and team goals for this challenge.

Individual Goal: 500 minutes (125 min/week)
Team Goal: 2,000 minutes (500 min/week)

PRIZES: A goodie will be awarded to each participating member of the winning team. Also, a Most Valuable Player (MVP) goodie will be awarded to the person on each team that danced the longest.

LATE ENTRIES: If you would like to join this challenge, then please post your Wii dance games in the “TEAM CHALLENGES: SIGNUP & IDEAS” thread AND send me a private message so that I can update the team assignments ASAP. Only the dance minutes accumulated AFTER requesting a team assignment will be counted. For example, if you sent me a team assignment request on January 5, then only your minutes danced on or after January 5 will be counted.
