I love walking, especially at night because it's more quiet out. I do it pretty much every night.
The most successful weight loss attempt I've ever made centered around walking. My little guy was about 2 so I'd throw him in the stroller and go. Now that he's 6 I don't think that's an option anymore.
I'm looking for my inner athlete, but I'm afraid I may have eaten her. If I'm very quiet I can hear her screams of terror.

I have been following a walking program i found in an old book (90's) and I haven't noticed much weight shift,but I have noticed other things like a bit more energy and stamina, some muscles in my abd and pelvic floor are getting back into better shape, some hip pain I have had a while now is improving a bit. I love it!

I walk alot, but it doesn't do to me what it did as a kid (young adult)' I didn't have a car back then and I walked just about everywhere and in those days my horse was like 3 hours by foot away from where I lived and I walked it back and forth every day. I had the flatest stomach then that I ever had in m y life!!
