Yes well Day 3 sort of fell apart!!
I colapsed with severe pain - and it took a bit to realise why.
I told you before that its VERY high protein in week 1 - the idea being to get your body ready for the high (but not as high proportionally) protein diet following - jump start the metabolism and get rid of excess fluid. OK in theory - but I had already been on a high protein diet 45% - 50% carbs) and 1500cal and had lost weight in the previous 2 months. I have a metabolic disorder that can cause problems metabolisising protein - though I had hoped I could cope for just one week - my body had other ideas!!
I contacted my counselor - to see if I could raise the carbs slightly - as week 2 has a higher carb lervel so I would be ok - and was told in slightly different words - "either follow week 1 as it is - or close the door as you leave"
I have signed on for 6 mths so for 6 mths I shall bug the counselor - but as you realize I know enough to handle the nutritional problems!! Maybe that is the problem!!
I have managed and went back to work out today - I will see the counsellor on Thursday - should be an interesting meeting!!
so Day 3 - food all over the place!!

Breakfast - Bircher Muesli
Lunch - Tuna salad sandwich
Tea - Nicoise salad
+ 2 snacks
Day 5 -
Breakfast - Almond berry parfait
Lunch - Asian Salmon
Tea - Taco salad
+ 2 snacks
