City Running Tours has regular 5 and 10K runs in different parts of Washington.

-Rock and Roll Half Marathon- March 16th there are 1000 spots left!
-September 22nd Color Run will open registration 2.15.. These events go quickly so make sure to register, but they are also a lot of fun and a good place to start if it is your first race

Capitol Hill Cluster (CHC) School annual Spring 10K is coming up.

The ANNUAL 10K benefits the three CHC DC Public Schools- Watkins Elem, Peabody Elem, and Stuart-Hobson Middle School!

Anyone have the details? Otherwise, I'll post soon! Hope you'll register and run! : )

They also need race-day volunteers.

I have not specially looked into any in the area. I am doing The Color Run 5k in Atlanta, GA with friends. I am hoping this will get me back into running in a meaningful way.
