It took me 1hr 15min. I usually swim an hour and a half but I am just getting back in the pool after a shoulder injury.

For me, a lifetime swimmer, competitive swimmer as a child, :30s rest would be too much. I could fully recover in that time. I stick to rest intervals of 5, 10 or 15 depending on the difficulty of the set. Longer rest, approximately 1 min, between sets.

Now that's a very good workout. Is there a time limit on it? How about rest timings, I think about 0:30 per 100. Thanks, Jason.

today's workout 2600m
200 free warm-up
4 x 100 free on 2:00
4 x 50 free on :50
1 x 100 underwater fly kick
1 x 100 flutter kick on side
1 x 100 IM
2 x 150 fly drill/kick/drill
2 x 500 1st 500 (1ez,1fast, 2ez, 2fast, 3ez, 3fast, 4ez, 4fast) (2nd 500- distance per stroke- count # of right hand entries per 50) I averaged 24- I'm 5'5"
200 cooldown- breast kick/swim by 50

warm up- 400m free stroke=long and strong
main set
100m free Fast
100m free easy (EZ)
100m free kick Fast
100m stroke of choice-not free
4x = 1200

6 x 50meters kick alternate fly/breast by 25
8 x 25meters swim alternating fly and breast each time
Total 2100meters plus cool down of choice
