It seemed to me that most of our team members were doing the Omni workout. Bren, Jen, Ami, Emily, and maybe even Ronalda. You should stop by our daily workout thread and ask. I'm not sure how many team members subscribe to new thread notifications and may have missed your post here. I know for sure we had a new member post today that she just finished day 1 of Omni.

Keep ROCKING our workouts!

Well, I'm on day 5 now (I took one day off and I think my body thanked me for it)
I am noticing that I am *definitely* doing better, but I still can't do all of the reps at once. Sometimes I have to stop halfway through at take a drink of water
However, this is MUCH better than when I first started! I'm halfway through this round and I'm sure by day 10 I'll be so great at it!... and then the next round will start and I'll say ahhhhhh!!! Again?! But at least I have something to work up to :)

Has anyone else tried the omnicentric workouts?

I've also noticed that listening to my own music is so much more motivating... and I can tune her out (her and that stupid smirk! erg!)

First... emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Mallory (Kettleburn) and Dana (DANAMBISHOP) have both already given you great advice. But I'll share my story with you too.

When I first tried Tracy's program, I was so excited and ready to go. I had been doing Jillian Michael's workouts and walking daily so I thought I was ready, but. I hated it! I HATED her stupid smirky "isn't this just so easy" smile, because I felt so uncoordinated and weak. I have the Hipcentric program and the leg series average 40 reps each, there was just NO WAY I could do it. emoticon I wanted to return the program. But luckily I had ordered it from Tracy's infomercial and once you "open" the package, you CAN'T return it emoticon It took me another 6 months to even try it again, but luckily by then I had found this team and had the support of SP friends that understood what I was going through. emoticon Knowing you're not suffering alone really makes a difference.

It's important to remember that Tracy's Muscle Restructuring workouts, are Strength Training. You have to allow yourself to hit the pause button when you need to, just stretch out, shake it off, and then start again. It's ok if it takes you longer than 30 minutes to get through the workout. It's not about Perfection, it's about Performance. If you stick with it, you will build up your strength, and endurance, and your body WILL change.

I also, listen to my own music during the dance cardio, and rebounder cardio. Tracy's music has actually put me to sleep. emoticon I also switch off daily between starting legs. My left leg is actually more flexible and a lot stronger than my right leg. Who would have thought, since I'm right handed.

I'm happy to report that I now, LOVE Tracy's workouts. Dance cardio is still not my favorite, but I LOVE rebounder dance cardio. Good luck with your program. We're ALL in this together.

Thanks for the encouragement! It is nice to know that I'm not the only one with problems but yes I thought to myself "Man I am really out of shape!" And I kept yelling at her telling her that it sucked, but really I knew it was just me not being strong enough to do it.
At least I know i have something to work towards!

first things first: way to get through day one! the first few days are always, always, ALWAYS the hardest. and to ease your mind, you're not weak or dumb at all! i'm doing the abcentric dvds and when i did the first day my reaction was pretty much like this: "WHAT THE HELL IS SHE DOING?! SHE THINKS I CAN DO THIS?! clearly this woman is insane." seriously. her arm work looks a little crazy, but you pick it up. the standing abs... i'm not fond of them because the camera angles are weird sometimes and it's hard to tell which way she's actually moving. ab stuff is ab stuff; i'm pretty neutral. the "strategic muscle exhaustion" though? i LOATHE it. my left leg isn't as strong as my right and i feel like i have little control over it!

anyway! do keep in mind, though, that that was your FIRST day. you have ten days at each level and by the end of each section of ten days you get much better at the muscle structure work. each level builds on the previous one. so, things you do in level 2 you'll have been prepped for in a way in level 1. an important thing to remember about the workouts is that even if you can't do the number of reps (usually 30) that Tracy does what she emphasizes is that it's okay to go slower than her but you must, must, must pay close attention to the angles she's hitting, to the way she that kicks her foot in the air. do NOT flop around or do the moves half-heartedly. you really do have to *perform* them. in order to see the results you want, you really have to put all that you have into it. i'm sorry if i sound like i'm lecturing your or something haha i just don't want you to lose your motivation and think that you're the only person out there having trouble when they start! you definitely aren't! and i, for one, will be here to help keep you motivated whenever you need it!

i'm excited that you're starting this! i'm on day 28 today and am losing my enjoyment for the level i'm on. i weigh and measure myself on friday so hopefully i see some good results and that'll pump up my motivation again! in terms of keeping up YOUR motivation, this is a definitely a place to do that! there's only a few people that seem to post consistently on here and that's all done on the one thread "what workout did you do today?" but starting a new thread is great too :)

keep it up!

Congratulations on getting through it! Ive been doing TAM off and on for the last month and still can't get through all of the leg reps. Just keep pressing play and you will continue to gain strength. When I have to take a break during reps, I just tell myself that this is the area I really need to work up strength in. Remember she is working the weaker muscles so it might take time to work up through all the reps!

Dana

We can do this!

So I started day 1 on the omni transformation.
I couldn't keep up with a lot of it and I am dripping sweat. I don't mind the dripping part, but I feel kind of weak and dumb that I couldn't keep up or finish all of the reps. It seems like everyone else is super capable of everything.
Anyway, I just thought I'd put in my two cents -- at least I tried it.
Keeping my motivation up enough to do day two tomorrow.
