Mallory (Kettleburn) and Dana (DANAMBISHOP) have both already given you great advice. But I'll share my story with you too.
When I first tried Tracy's program, I was so excited and ready to go. I had been doing Jillian Michael's workouts and walking daily so I thought I was ready, but…. I hated it! I HATED her stupid smirky "isn't this just so easy" smile, because I felt so uncoordinated and weak. I have the Hipcentric program and the leg series average 40 reps each, there was just NO WAY I could do it.
I wanted to return the program. But luckily I had ordered it from Tracy's infomercial and once you "open" the package, you CAN'T return it
It took me another 6 months to even try it again, but luckily by then I had found this team and had the support of SP friends that understood what I was going through.
Knowing you're not suffering alone really makes a difference.
It's important to remember that Tracy's Muscle Restructuring workouts, are Strength Training. You have to allow yourself to hit the pause button when you need to, just stretch out, shake it off, and then start again. It's ok if it takes you longer than 30 minutes to get through the workout. It's not about Perfection, it's about Performance. If you stick with it, you will build up your strength, and endurance, and your body WILL change.
I also, listen to my own music during the dance cardio, and rebounder cardio. Tracy's music has actually put me to sleep.
I also switch off daily between starting legs. My left leg is actually more flexible and a lot stronger than my right leg. Who would have thought, since I'm right handed.
I'm happy to report that I now, LOVE Tracy's workouts. Dance cardio is still not my favorite, but I LOVE rebounder dance cardio. Good luck with your program. We're ALL in this together.
