Sorry I am late posting we had a death in the family and I have been away from the computer. I did get my workouts in though so I will post them all at once now.

Day 1 - Video - 10 Minute Cardio Kickboxing * 2
Cardio- Stationary Cycling - 57 Minutes, Walking 96 Minutes 163 Minutes Total

Day 2 - Video - 10-minute Crunchless Core workout * 2
Cardio- Stationary Cycling - 77 Minutes, Walking 52 Minutes 139 Minutes Total

Day 3 - Video - 6-Minute Hips, Glutes & Thighs Workout *2
Cardio- Stationary Cycling - 56 Minutes, Walking 93 Minutes 162 Minutes Total

I am not sure if this is where we are supposed to discuss our long term goals or not but if so my long term goals are to continue to ride the stationary cycle daily for at least 30 minutes daily, to continue to achieve 5000 steps daily and to continue to eat 3-5 fruits and vegetables daily as part of a balanced diet.

Started week 4 later than I wanted. Almost back to normal have an injury a few weeks ago. I've lost a few pounds but I'm in better shape. Walked about 40 mins today on top of the videos.

I want to keep the momentum going and now that we might finally get out of the cold, ice, and snow I'll be focusing on more outside activities. Have some new garden beds I want to put in. I've got a lot of wood clearing to do from the trees that went down in the winter storms.

finished .. not sure how much i lost in this month, but i DO know i am not going to be in a bathing suit in the next couple of months .. this challenge may work for someone close to their weight just trying to tighten up, but not for someone 45 lbs overweight still .. hahahaha but is was a fun challenge and gets you motivated and that is more the point that being in a "bikini" when you are done .. LOL WAHOOOOO to being finished!!!

Had another "just lying there" night, but feel good and energetic to begin my last day of this month's Bootcamp. It has been good and helpful. I have gained a pound over the month to put me back where I was January 1st...but my core is very much stronger over these three months of strengthening exercises.

I'm going to do the eat up slim down challenge in April. And, continue to do the challenges given to us on Partnership for Accountability Team! Loving them!

Have started week 4 today...only difficulty is that I did not sleep last night at all...just lay there and rested. So here it is almost 4PM and I'm ready to turn in. However, I got my exercises in, except not nearly as much walking as I'd hoped.

Beginning week 4 today. I didn't realize I was already in week 4. I was hoping to be further along than I am, doing each video at least twice or 3 times, maybe I'm not pushing myself hard enough. I do enjoy the short videos, definitely feel better and can do the arm and ab videos twice. So, this week my goal is to push myself harder, do videos twice to three times and add extra videos. Ugh, I'm tired already.

The race is not to the swift, but to the one who endures to the end.

Completed the challenge. Very rewarding to be able to do more of the repetitions at the end of the month than I could do in the beginning. Plan to continue doing strength training videos tho may switch them around for the next month. Will be continuing with at least 30 minutes of cardio too.

in Day 2 of Week Four and did 2 boot camp videos - that day 2 crunchless core workout still gets me dripping! The scale only moved 2 pounds but I feel stronger and tighter, especially in butt and thigh areas.

We'll see if we can get 2 more pounds off this last week!

Going to check out that 28 day boot camp video - these little 10 minute workouts are great Nicole!

All the best sparkers!

I loved this bootcamp, I am now on week #4 and I will probably continue on with the daily exercises! I plan to continue on to the Sparkpeople Bootcamp DVD that I had purchased. I have done well and I have lost about 12-13 pounds total.

My greatest accomplishments are going from not being able to do pushups to doing 50 a day (25x2), I was so surprised that I could do that!!!

Also, I started off not being able to squat down and get back up and now it's no issue! I still need help in the abs department, so I may repeat this bootcamp again, (if allowed). emoticon

I try to remember in life, every day is a gift.

Whew, I finished! Not with a bang, but done! And yes, the exercises are getting easier, but yes, I still need to work on my strength. I hope to fit in about 20 minutes of strength training at least three days a week. Cardio, I have that down, but sometimes life gets away from me and I forget the strength training. That is why these challenges are good for me - it keeps me accountable!

Going to have to redo week four. Didn't stay on track this week because of deadlines at work and having to stay at my desk for a steady 8 hours a day. Normally I take my lunch hour to workout at the gym next door, but it wasn't an option this week. Life happens and you just need to start over. Good thing is that my eating habits stayed on track. emoticon Today someone I know asked if I had lost some weight and I was happy to tell them yes I did! emoticon

emoticon I finished week 4 yesterday and weighed today. I didn't lose any weight (didn't gain either) this past week, but I lost 5 lbs over all for the 4 weeks. I did lose some inches, with the exception of my arms (1/2 inch more), but I feel more energetic and toned.

Finished week 4!!! Not too much of a difference in the scale but I'm feeling much more toned. Push ups are getting easier (not easy...but easier). Bought a new swimsuit! So glad I did this challenge. I definitely am liking the results of the toning videos and will keep that up.

Had some challenges this week that I hadn't had in previous weeks. But making sure to get my videos in, even if I have to do 2 days in 1. I am going to continue the 28 day bootcamp challenge that I started last week and next week start this challenge again. I have 8 pounds left to get to my goal weight from Jenny Craig and will try to lose 5 more after that. Not sure about the goal weight I put in on SP, but I haven't been this "thin" in at least 2 years, when I was sick. So, let's see how I do with 145-150.

this is going to be hard for me, but going to give it my best shot. I will do what I have been doing at the gym, doing 30 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes on the bike. Then come home to do more cardio along with some yoga cardio. Eating my vegetables and fruit.

emoticon emoticon WOW! What a difference a day makes! I lost all the bloat I had this past week and feel great today! I made better food choices and finished my 4 week challenge! emoticon

I'm going to admit, it wasn't easy for me. The last week was the hardest and sometimes I wasn't sure if I was doing enough. I did a lot of yard work that needed to be done and upped my intensity level. (I did a lot of dancing to the radio while I made my breakfast too. LOL)

Today I found I'm much more flexible and my back isn't going into spasms as much. This I will remember the next time a plate of pasta calls my name!

Here's to the next challenge and the next 10 pounds gone!!!!!!

Tomorrow is my last day of week 4. It's been a struggle some days but I'm glad to say "I did it." I'm glad I joined a group: it's just what I needed to keep me accountable and to get me moving. I definitely will be continuing!

I am on day 5 of week 4. One of the week four assignments is to set long term goals. Before I started this challenge, I was doing mostly cardio and a splatter of strength training here and there. I am going to change that now. I am going to plan a muscle group workout every day, like the challenge has, plus the cardio. It will help tone up my muscles as I lose weight. I do know to give each muscle group a rest between days. I also have learned that changing up your routine can bust, or help avoid plateaus, so I will make order changes week to week, slowing building intensity.

I just completed the 4 week challenge... I really loved Day 7, although I used light weights instead. My band was too short to do some of the shoulder exercises. Light weights did great. WOW! Did I feel my triceps....

Just finished week 4, day 2, and feel much better than I did 3 weeks ago. Since I've been doing the same exercises every week I can tell that I'm getting stronger. That day 1 cardio video still has me tripping over myself in some areas...I guess I truly do have 2 left feet! All in all, I can proudly say I am in a much better place because of this challenge. 5 more days, and I'm certain I can make it!

Just started week 4 today. Week 3 started good for me but the end was lackluster. I had 2 days where I just didn't have the energy. I still did what I needed to do but I had no energy behind it.
I plan to join another challenge after this one. My goal is to continue with the exercise 5 days a week....before this challenge I was only doing 2 or 3 times a week.

Day 7 finished! So proud to have finished the challenge! No idea if I lost any weight because we are in the camper and my scale is back at home. No worries though. I saw lots of progress with how I could do the videos and that is good enough for me. It was a major part of my goals at the beginning. Plus, I found some videos that I want to continue to use.

Day 6 done. Wow, I really couldn't say if I've improved with that butt workout or not. It's tough! As much as I "hate" it, I think I'll stick with it for awhile. It's perfect for working that area hard while I need to do low impact cardio. I'm not sure I can do lunges while my Achilles is bugging me, but I can do all those exercises! Tomorrow is the last day!

Just finished day 5 of week 4 (abs day again!) The first time I did this video, I could hardly finish it. Today I did it through twice and did it well! I'm so excited to see such progress! I'm for sure going to continue to come back to these videos.
I'm having trouble with my right Achilles tendon, so my cardio is going to change. I'm going to do the seated cardio today and stick to low impact for awhile. Once we go back to the house (we are staying in the camper near my husband's job site right now) I will go to the dr and get advice on how to proceed. I don't want to really screw up something.

I think as long as you are doing more than one arm video, core video, etc in a day, that counts as doubling.

Did day 4 today. I doubled up the arms before I remembered that I wasn't going to double the arms. lol

Day 2 of the final week! I doubled the core video today and plan on doubling the video tomorrow and also the other ab/core workout. No way I'm going to double the butt workout! LOL
I have no idea what I want to say my long term goals are. I want to get stronger and more healthy. I want to be able to be active with my family. I want to get my core really strong so I don't have any more back pain.
I'm sticking with upping my cardio. My most basic goal every day for cardio is to get at least 10 mins. Next up is to get 30 mins and my hope is to get 40-45. Plus I'm adding cardio in on Saturday for 6 days a week.
I'm also sticking with the goal of getting my fruits and veggies. I was doing really well getting 5-7 servings every day and then something happened and I started to struggle to get even 2-3. I hope to get 5-7 servings again.
I"m not sure if I will get the extra video in twice a week anymore or not. Doubling the other videos might take the place.
I'm looking forward to finishing this challenge (and getting my first challenge trophy!) and moving on to my next plan. Not positive with it will be.

I did it!! I did it!! I did it!!

Today I crossed the finished line of the SP Spring into Shape Challenge. I did it in 29 days instead of 28, but who's counting?? Oh my, what a difference this challenge has made for me. I just one short month I feel better, I'm thinking better, I'm stronger, I'm lighter, I measure smaller. Hallelujah!!

Now I'm going to continue pushing in the 5% Winter into Spring Challenge. I've upped my fitness minutes from 12 min. cardio to 45-50. I hope to continue adding a bit there. I've incorporated strength training through the SP videos which I've never done before. I hope to continue that, double videos on most and work towards doubles on that butt blaster & hips, glutes, & thighs! LOL

Oh, thank God for the day I signed up for this challenge. I know it will take me far. Thank you Sparkpeople!

Boy did my knees hurt last night. I think that after 2 days of the high impact intervals in the WATP Dvd, my knees were speaking up. LOL So today I went back to Shapely Girl for 54 min of low impact cardio. I ran out of time for the strength training video because we were traveling today. By the time we got home my fever had returned and I've been in bed. I'm hopeful that I will feel well enough in the morning to do it along with tomorrow's.

If all goes as planned I will cross the finish line.

Day 5 is in the bag! I did the 4 fast miles again and whew that is a workout. I also did the seated core workout. I will repeat that one which will make a total of 74 fitness minutes today. Wow, wow, wow!

I'm still not feeling up to par but working up a sweat feels so cleansing.

I felt a bit better today when I woke up so I decided to give my workout a try. 61 minutes later, I'm feeling great!!! A bit stuffy, but great! Maybe I sweat that sinus infection out. LOL

Today, I did Leslie Sansone's 4 Fast Miles. I haven't done this video in years and it contains five "intervals" of jogging/high impact aerobics. I was able to complete them all and I surely didn't expect that! This challenge has really changed my stamina. I'm so thankful!! I also did Coach Nicole's upper body workout with band twice. That leaves one more video to repeat sometime in the next 3 days.

Finish line here I come. I'm going to finish strong!!

Day 3 is complete! Yay!! I woke with a sore throat and wondering if I could do the workout. But after my light therapy I was ready to go. I did 45 min. cardio and the 6 min. hips, glues & thighs. This is not one of the videos I will double!! I can barely get through it once. But I hope to keep doing it after the challenge so I can see myself conquer it.

I'm still tracking my 5 fruits and vegetables plus I've added water tracking too. I'm so thankful I joined this challenge. It has made such a difference in me!!

Oh, I LIKE posting in this final thread section!! It's like I climbed to the top!!! emoticon

Today I've logged the most fitness points ever since my re-Spark a months ago - 66 minutes!!!

emoticon

I did the Shapely Girl main workout, but the main workout didn't stop. The DVD went right into the abs workout and I kept going without realizing what happened. So I counted that abs workout as my 2nd video for today. Then I did the seated core workout from Coach Nicole. I really needed that extra stress release!

Yesterday my Dad collapsed and had to be resuscitated by CPR. By the time the squad arrived he was awake again. He's now in the step-down unit undergoing lots of tests. I'm glad to have gotten my workout in early. I think it will help me for whatever this day holds.

Prayers for my dad, Henry, are appreciated.

Let's press on to the finish line!

Way to go, FITANDFAITHFUL1!!!! I'm having the same experience. On days that I am dragging, the exercise brings back my energy and changes the direction of the whole day! Now to make this a lifetime change, not just a short-term change. Who knows what we can accomplish if we live our lives this way.

emoticon

I just finished my first day of Week 4. I did the kickboxing cardio and added the seated core workout. I'll probably make the decision of what to double as I go each day. Some of these workouts are still extremely hard for me to finish, hips glutes & thighs come to mind. LOL But I can double the others!

The first day of Week 4 is completed for me. emoticon
Today, I was really, really, tired and lethargic I think due to a very hectic weekend. But because of this challenge I sucked it up and did not 1 but 2 Spark videos and almost 15 minutes of Zumba which was way tougher than my usual Free Walk on my Wii Fit. I also tracked and stayed within my calorie range. emoticon

I can honestly say that the exercise perked me up and made me feel better. I felt better at the close of my exercise time than I did for the whole day. To me, this is progress. I'm getting in shape and I'm staying disciplined about doing it regardless of my emotional mindset!

Between not having the Internet for four days and having to make up on the exercises I am glad to say that the videos from Coach Nicole have really helped me to restart.

Life really got in the way of my consistency in this challenge, but fortunately, a lot of the lifestyle suggestions were already a part of my life. I guess I really used these four weeks to learn how to make life bend to my wants and needs, how to keep control even when there is too much going on.

I hope from now on I can make sure I get some daily me time and keep the exercise going. Thanks to the new videos I can keep the variety going in my workouts, and enjoy them more than before.

Other than that, my next step is 10k training as a step to a Half Marathon.

Hi All,
I can't believe I am almost through week 4! I had to redo this week since last week was a bust for me, but I was thrilled to pick it right back up and finish this bootcamp (something the old me would never have done.) I plan on continuing to eat at least 3-5 servings of fruits and veggies. I also bought Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred which I will continue for next month along with my bike riding. This was a great challenge. It really helped me to get exercising back into my routine and focus on what I need to do. Good luck everyone and finish strong!

Today I started week 4! I plan on eating at least five servings of fruits and veggies daily and continue to add 10 mins. to my 5 cardio days by doing power walking routines. I will also do an extra toning video every day. I've been rotating between arms, thighs and butt, and abs.emoticon

I started Week 4 last night. I will repeat the Day 1 Kickboxing video two more days instead of just repeating a toning video that day. The kickboxing one kicks my behind and I would like to master it by the end of the week!

I started this challenge to get strength training/toning back into my routine. I will continue to use Coach Nicole's videos 3x per week in conjunction with the cardio I already do. It makes a huge difference with the weight loss efforts. I received my 28 Day Bootcamp Video in the mail at the end of last week. Will start it after I finish Week 4 here.

FINALLY DONE after 2 delays, one for not tracking my food and the second from having my wisdom teeth removed. My new goals for the upcoming month are to start yoga and to increase my mileage running. I'm going to continue to get up early and do something as it really is an added bonus.

I need to get back on track with tracking my food as it really makes a difference.

Thursday, friday and saturday I plan on doing the butt work out two times. I have been eating fruits and veggies fives times a day and I need to get caught up on my food logging. I want to continue on with working out strength training every day. I have so enjoyed this challenge!!

Officially started week 3 over on Sunday but off to a slow start. Have not done any exercises (as of yet). Headed to the treadmill for at least 30 minutes and doing the strength training for Sunday and Monday. Have to go to work tonight at 6. Tomorrow, walking trail for 60 minutes with my friend and strength training for Tuesday and Wednesday - will be caught up for the week.

I got this! emoticon

Finished Week 4 yesterday - didn't lose any weight, but got back into a more regular exercise routine. I had been a bit lax on that with end-of-school activities. I'm looking forward to keeping up my daily walking habit (weather permitting) that has been re-established.
