The day 5 pilates video is coming a little easier to me. Obviously I am very week in my core area but working on it and making progress!

Changed up my cardio today...couldn't work out at lunch time like I usually do so I decided to try some new videos tonight....one Denise Austin and one Dancing With the Stars. DWTS was tough to follow because they don't give a lot of direction, but it sure was fun!

Well I gained the 2 lbs back. I am finding it hard to be consistent with my exercising because of arthritis in my knee and pain in my foot if I move certain ways. I get the foot pain when walking and the knee pain when I have to bend them.

I have made it through week 3, and started week 4 yesterday. I have kept up with the daily video routine, and I walk 5 days a week (2 miles each day for 10 miles a week). Week 2 I added a couple of days of the 20 minute Yogilates to change with my regular yoga stretches I do. This week I added the 8 minute Athletic Intervals Cardio Workout to up up my cardio a little, and to do a variety of short cardio intervals. I will not give up my walking, since it is how break up my day at work. I keep working on walking faster, and if I can do it in 30 minutes, I will ad more mileage. Also, a new before bedtime exercise I have added mix it on alternating nights with the yogilates and yoga. The 15-Minute Q Gong Routine.
I have learned how to mix up the routines to get a full body strengthening, cardio, and stretches for the full week. I have more energy overall than I have had in a long time (still working on getting the sleep part in, but that is getting better, too).

Only lost 0.3 lbs after week 2. A bit disappointed as I feel I did well with tracking and exercise. Hopefully a good loss this week. Feeling more toned though. Should be taking measurements.

I have been bad the past couple of weeks. I injured my back and missed my work out challenge for a week, started feeling better and did day 3, 4 and 5 and then got lazy for a week and did nothing. I don't no if it was the pain medication or what, but I slipped a little into depression and laziness. A viscous cycle. Today, I woke up feeling energized.. A great feeling.. So hopefully I can get back on track and finish up this challenge. I am so ready for a new month, April and hopefully some Spring like weather....

I made it through day 5, then missed the videos on day 6 due to being out of town all day. Did manage to get in a good walk, but plan on making up the videos today. This morning I can really tell that something feels off. My back is achy and I don't feel as flexible. I love stretching out my muscles at the end of the workouts! Tomorrow is Easter and I'm going to be busy preparing for the family feast (salmon for me!) and entertaining, so I plan on getting up early so I can begin week 4 right away! Nothing's going to stop me from completing this challenge!

Back to the challenge after taking some time off do to lower back pain. I am playing catch up now. I worked on my week 3 day 3, 4 and 5. I don't want to push it so I plan aerobic activity on Sunday... Maybe a brisk walk. It feels great to be back doing the challenge pain free..

Day 1 :) did the workout video twice and finished it with 40 situps. Done my cardio in the morning with 35 min reasonably intense bicycling. I only joined here today, but i have been eating healthy and exercising for just over a month. I can definately feel the difference in my fitness levels, a month ago i would have not been able to do half of what i did today. Not seeing much change on the scales, but inches are melting away. :)

Started week 3 today. Week 2 was ok. I did just what I had to do. I was on vacation so I didn't have the same structure that I did for week 1 but I managed to still do what I needed to do. I added a 10 minute kickboxing workout (thanks Coach Nicole) I just love kickboxing. I really do. It just kicks my butt!

Day 2 of week three! That core workout is getting to be do-able. Love seeing the progress! Went grocery shopping so I have the fruits and veggies to eat. I was doing really well for awhile, but with traveling I got behind on eating them. I also did an extra 10 mins (so 40 mins total) of cardio today! I'm going to shoot for 10 extra mins most days and probably to 10-30 on Saturday now also. Plus I'm still doing the extra ab video twice a week that I added last week.

Way to go, Deanna!
I just finished Day 6 and am feeling fine. It was hard to wake up this morning. I definitely needed to get to bed earlier. But once I got started I was able to keep up and complete my goals. 45 min. cardio and the butt blaster workout. I noticed it was a bit easier this time, but just a bit. I'll take improvement in any amounts!! :)
Tomorrow will be the last day of Week 3. I'll do two SP videos for strength training and then it's off to Week 4. I'm rounding the last bend and before I know it I'll be seeing the finish line.

Knowing you're a few days ahead of me, FITANDFAITHFUL1, helps me keep going! :)
Today I finished Day 5. I'm feeling really good right now. I'm using the seated core workout instead of the Pilates one. Today I noticed increased range of motion as I did the stretches. How exciting!!
I'm doing well adding the 5 fruits and veggies so far. I hope to make this a regular part of my life. When I'm not intentional about it, I definitely do not get 5.
One more day of cardio left in Week 3. Two more days to Week 4. Finish line here I come!!

Wow Beth! I just read all your entries for Week 3. How impressive you are. Way to go! We traveled yesterday and just got home tonight, but I did the 6 minute butt blaster and I stood and sang and played keyboard at church for 1 1/2 hours which is great exercise for me and one of my favorite things in the world to do! I have officially completed 3 weeks of the Spring into Shape Bootcamp Challenge! I am so pumped for week 4!

I got my day 4 workout in early this morning. We went to a Chinese buffet for lunch and I really loaded up on the veggies trying my best to make good choices. I also had fruit for dessert. I think I may have had all 5 servings of fruits and veggies in one meal!
On to day 5! It 's hard to believe that the last week of this challenge is right around the corner.

Day 2 down and I'm feeling great. I was undecided on what to do for the extra 10 minutes of cardio, but I just keep going on my DVD and ended up with 45 minutes total. At the beginning of this challenge I started with 12 minutes. This is an amazing change and so quickly!! :)
I used Leslie Sansone's 3 Mile Weight Loss DVD. It's one of my faves and I really work up a sweat. I also subbed the seated core work-out for the floor ab work today. I'm sure one of these days in the near future I'll be ready for floor work. But for now I'm so thankful that there's an alternative way to get those muscles worked.
Now to get 5 fruits & veggies into my diet today! I'm looking forward to the challenge.

I just completed Day 1 of Week 3. I feel so accomplished to have made it this far. It looks so nice seeing that "Week 3" link lit up and only one more link grayed.
I don't know what everyone else does, but I'm going to keep my two extra videos that I added in last week. So today I did the 10 minute kickboxing and added in the seated abs workout. I will repeat that on the last day of the week as well.
I'm debating what to do about the 10 minutes extra cardio. I could increase my normal cardio workout or I could just add the 10 minutes at the end of the day with one of Acai videos. I'm really undecided at this point. But whichever way I go, I feel I'm up to it! And that's a good feeling!!
Any of you contemplating what you'll do after this challenge? I'm not sure I can continue this consistency without the framework of a challenge. Maybe I'll feel differently by the end. But I may join another challenge just to keep me accountable. I'd love to hear what the rest of you are planning.
Have a great day everyone!

AWESOME DAY because I DID IT already with my exercise! I vamped up my cardio by picking up my walking pace. The weather is absolutely beautiful and I have a bloomed daffodil in my flower garden. I probably should cut it and bring it in to enjoy before the next freeze gets it! I did the crunchless core video today and it really works it for me. I think I am improving but my abs are way too wimpy....but I am working on it! I too feel really proud of hitting week 3 and having 16 straight days of exercise, tracking and getting the victory!

So I hurt my toe pretty bad on Saturday and haven't been able to exercise because I couldn't walk on it or put any pressure. I plan on doing Saturday's, Sunday's and today's workout today!
