I did aerobics today. I feel kind of sluggish today for some reason. I kept my meals and water
in chek. It was a very good day other than feeling so drained. Im gonna sleep good tonight for sure. Did you get a work out in today Stacey?

Stacey, I have very many work outs from the FIRM. I have 500 calorie burn, sculptilates, ultimate fat burn, dance slim down, 3 in 1 workout,maximum calorie burn boot camp, power burn 45 to name a few. some of the older ones I rarely use anymore.

Cindy, I don't have any of the new FIRM videos, the ones I have are about 6 years old, but they always gave me a great workout. Do you like the new ones? What are they like?

Hi Stacey. I used the fanny lifter as my primary source of exercise. It does work. Im using the core fusion videos now. Love 'em all! They are rather rough though. I don't care! As long as im still able to do the work outs I don't give a flying flip. I give it all I got.!! even at my age! tehe

You are so right, WISHINGSTARR, it is more than just about the number on the scale! I have resolved only to step on the scale once a week and guage my daily progress on how I'm feeling and my energy levels.

My biggest program is SODIUM. I added it to one of my nutrients to track and I am eating way too much of it. I really don't know how to reduce it.

oh oh! I've been reading some of the posts here. I think i'm in a bit of trouble! lol. Everyone here is so young!!! Well...i'll just have to show you young'uns how it's done! hehe. I've lost 15 lbs so far. The last 6 lbs seem like their glued to my body. I'm 52 yrs old. My daughter is 31. I keep telling her "when I grow up, i'm gonna look just like her"! I've been using the FIRM work outs for the rotation im on now....I"m going to use the spark people video's as my extra work outs. Im shooting for those extra work outs 3 days a week.

I've been completing four bootcamp workout videos each day! Working on week two and it's awesome!! I do the sparkpeople videos right when I get home from work and if my workout partner is able to make it after she gets out of work I get a double dose for the day because then we do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred for 20 minutes!! I've been tracking my food since September but just this month I added a protein shake and fiber powder to my diet because I was never getting enough of either of those and I just couldn't get any more out of my food. I feel great and I think I look great. Right now it wouldn't even bother me to not make it to my original weight goal because I feel fit and I look good! I think sometimes people obsess over the number on the scale, but fitness isn't about the number it's about feeling healthy inside and out; mentally and physically. Right now, I've got it!!

I LOVE the Jillian Michael's DVD's! She even has a yoga DVD that is pretty hard work because she incorporates body strength training into the yoga moves. I like her 30 day shred video because it is circuit training and you aren't doing too much of one move for very long. I bought mine on Amazon for a pretty good price. I would suggest them to anyone!

I didn't get the chance to post yesterday. I did my Tae Bo DVD and the upper body challenge video. DH made dinner last night, he grilled chicken breasts and asparagus. We tried quinoa for the first time, I liked it alot and will definitely buy it again. I stayed within my calorie range, too. However, I didn't get 8 cups of water in. So that is my mini-goal for today: Drink 8 cups of water. I am halfway there.

Tonight I am going to do another aerobics cardio DVD and the challenge video. I also bought a Pilates DVD that I will try out tonight. So far I have staye within my calorie range today and I'm trying out a spark recipe - Baked Spaghetti. It sounds good.

So far, so good, I am enjoying this challenge!

My internet went down so I have to start over!! ugh!! I still worked out every day though. I have quite a few Jillian Michael's DVD's so they're the stand by if the internet goes down!

I am on Day 3 of the challenge. For my cardio work-out, I did a step-aerobics DVD. And of course I did the Day 3 video. My thighs are burning now! I realize that I am actually looking forward to each day to the video. I like the variety.

I stayed within my calorie range today, even though I did have a small piece of carrot cake for dessert. emoticon

Well, I started the challenge on Wednesday, did the Day 1 cardio kickboxing video and stayed within my calorie range.

Thursday and Friday are the days I work, so those are my "no exercise days". I didn't bring my lunch to work on Thursday, so I ate the cafeteria food. I had chicken parmesan with spaghetti noodles and broccoli. All those carbs and calories! Needless to say, I went way over my calorie range for Thursday. I should have chosen a salad or a grilled chicken sandwich instead. But Friday, I remembered to bring my lunch, so I stayed within my calorie range. And.... my boss brought in this HUGE chocolate cake and I did not have a slice. It was tough to say no, as I love chocolate, but I did not give into temptation!! I have also been using the stairs at work, rather than the elevator.

So today, Saturday, I'm back on for exercising. I did a Tae Bo Cardio Kickboxing video (I loved Coach Nicole's day 1 video that I had to go out and get a kickboxing DVD for my own) and the Day 2 core video. I also stayed in calorie range for my meals, too. So far so good. I will post an update on how tomorrow goes for me.
