I didn't start this on the day I planned to and I haven't prepared myself very well.

How do I start over?

I have been doing as much as I can and I have lost 7 lbs and some inches so I am pleased. I even did a cardio exercise in my chair at work just so I wouldn't lose the time to do it.

Planning is what I am trying to teach my kids and I am having a really tough time doing it myself.

My goal is to finish. Thats it, as I find that I start things all gunho, but never finish.
I hurt my knee at work today, so only did a soak in the bath, I am having early starts so that is a full 11 hours on my feet.
I will complete this challenge

If its going to be its up to me

Just did week one Day 2 video (it's my first day, but I want to do Day 1 last to suit my needs better.) Phew I forgot how tough it was!

I've started this challenge a ton of times but I'm not sure I ever finished it. Want to Fall into Shape this time. Just need something to kick up my workout plan a notch and hoping this'll do it and get me past my plateau.

Goals: Tone up. Feel strong again like I did in October of last year. Finish this challenge. Beat the plateau.

W 1 D 2 - Doing pretty good. I just got high speed internet so I can finally watch videos on the internet on my laptop. I really like the first video for cardio burn. I've done it three times already!

I feel your pain! I have an hour commute each way...also work a long day. I leave the house at 6:30 am and back home around 7/8. I have found that exercising in the morning works best for me. We have a small gym at my work (and there are other locations nearby)...and I am there by 7:30 for exercise, grab a shower, and head up to my office! If that doesn't work...try walking during lunch time.

Good luck!

W1 - D3 and going strong! The videos are very short which I appreciate! I am a morning exerciser, but leave the house early to do so. The videos are great for when I get home from work and have 10 minutes to myself! emoticon

So I am starting this today and my major challenge for the week is going to be consistency. I always track my food, though I do better some days than others, because the tracker is useless if I don't tell it the truth. It's exercise that is my problem. I get up extremely early and then am at work for 9 and a half hours a day with a 45 minute commute on either side, so I am usually very tired when I get home. If I can manage not to take naps in the afternoon then I can do my workouts and it will all be ok. But that means I need to go to bed on time every day as well, so I don't feel like I need the naps so much. Funny enough, exercise should help with that problem, so here's hoping that adding a little more structure is what I have been needing!

Just did Week 1 Day 5 video. Of course I started on June 18. So that's 13 days to do 5 days of exercise. It's a new week. I KNOW I can do better. I need to have the TV lower so I can watch it without looking Up off the floor. Maybe on a laptop would be better. I can feel the abs burning after that Pilates workout though. That's a good thing. Thanks Coach Nicole.

Week 1, day 1...I have been exercising regularly - but looking for a way to change things up and thought this challenge may do it with short videos to accompany my regular cardio workouts. Looking forward to the first video after work today emoticon

I am on Week 1 Day 3 also and my form is so horrible I am glad nobody is watching ! I just tried to do the best I could and make sure I didnt kill myself ! I have a very hard time with anything backwards bending or lifting up my trunk. My back is saying no no ! I am sure that if I had a person in my living room telling me what I am doing wrong it would be better but as the French say "C'est la vie"

I'm on Week 1, Day 3. Just finished the video for the day. I'm actually surprised at how much I can actually do. My form is horrible and that is something I need to work on but the fact that they are short and not overly complicated (so far) makes it a really easy thing to slip into my crazy schedule.

I'm unsure if my neighbors downstairs would appreciate me doing the kick boxing video above them. Doesn't look too high intensity but I try to be super careful not to disturb them by doing high intensity workouts above them! Bands and stability ball work outs work well though!

Ah I'm forgetting the video's. It's been so nice in Seattle that I've been taking my dog on extended walks (even though I'm only logging as 20 minutes because he stops to sniff and pee so much!). But I'm eating well, drinking my water, TAKING MY FISH OIL (life changer this is!) and feeling great! Thanks for the challenge!

Day 1, Week 1. Super excited because this challenge gives me a goal and a focus and I really need that. (Apparently!!!) I did the cardio kickboxing video w coach Nicole and am very surprised by the intensity of a 10 minute workout. I kept hearing how HIIT workouts can accomplish more in less time. I think I see why.

No problems with the nutrition end, but struggling mightily with the videos. I'm into week 2 of week 1. My knees seem to be a previously undiscovered problem. I can do cardio or strength training, but not both on the same day. I will continue working out daily, but have to build up to the real challenge.

Even if you are on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

Day 2, Week 1. Did the crunchless core video. Made it through, but my knees and wrists really ache! Only did a few minutes of walking before my knees made me stop. I hope to get more walking later today. I don't want to push to hard and have to stop altogether.

My goal is to actually stick with it, 4 weeks. Not too hard, but I never seem to follow through.

Someone once told me it takes 3 month to form a new habit. Thinking about it makes 3 months seem like a long time, but if i break it down to weekly or daily goals I can hopefully make this a habit!

Wish me luck :)

My main goal for week one is to simply do it!!!!

Day 1 - I did the kick boxing video. This was quite hard for me. I've let myself get way out-of-shape. That video used to be a breeze - something I did on a light day! Back on the food tracker too. I downloaded the new app too.

I am starting my week one today!

Current weight: 117
Goal weight for Week 1 end: 116

I will do Day 1 video tonight when I get home from work and do 30 minutes of cardio as well.

General goal for this week is getting my routine down with the videos as well as water intake increasing and being aware of what I am putting in my mouth. Here we go! emoticon

Day 1 video kickboxing done (sorta, lol). I did the best I could for my first time kick boxing. My coordination isn't the best, but I kept moving!

well it has been a rough week. I try to workout at work because I have plenty of time to, but it has been bad weather here. So I have had to workout in the evenings. That gets tricky because I also have to do meal prep and the everyday chores of a mom and wife. I really don't like to work out in the evening. I prefer in the day, it seems to rev me up more. But I keep pushing through.

I just started, so I can't really reflect on my first week yet. But my goals for this challenge are to establish an exercise routine with a lot of variety to keep me motivated. Last week was my first week where I tried to add some exercise into my plan. I did OK for my first week, but I had trouble sticking to what I told myself I'd do for the day. With the daily videos and support, by the end of 4 weeks, I hope to have a good weekly exercise plan that I will stick to.

Hello everyone. End of my first week and I did pretty well. I alternated between walking and at home strength training program Bikini Workout and did the short video that helps get to know all the different exercises that help strengthen different body parts. Those were great to help me decide what I needed to work on to strengthen. I took one day off when I had the grand kids plus one extra friend here all day. They kept me busy all day. Yesterday during my walking I did day 1 of the couch to 5k training and ran 10 times during my program. I'm getting better at the running but I have to listen real closely to what my body says because I have fibromyalgia and too much stress can cause a flare-up. Doing much better at holding those off with the strengthening exercises helping to get my body used to more strenuous activities. Looking back on my exercises tracked I can see how I am exercising for longer periods of time and getting better at consistency. Feeling great about my progress this whole month since I only skipped five days of not tracking or doing a program. That doesn't mean I wasn't active I just didn't have my pedometer on and didn't enter anything on the tracker.

To me HEALTH means Energy. Stamina. Flexibilty. A relatively pain free body. Enjoying healthy food. You are your body, and your weight loss efforts will succeed exactly to the extent that you mange to do the work on behalf of your embodied self. You’ll do much better when you focus on making positive changes to improve your health and well-being, rather than on fighting your bad habits.

Started Monday with the day 2 video and cardio (I want to keep my weekends easier). I like the videos, I like the strength training, Next week hoping I can do them twice in a day.

Tomorrow will be day one. This week I would like to lose 3 pounds. I lost 4 pounds a couple weeks ago and then one pound last week but I would like to lose another 3 so I ca say I lost 8 pounds in the month of April. I want to:

Increase my water
add in my strength training
add in more cardio than what I do already
stay on the low end of my calories range at least 4 days this week
Lose 3 pounds

Ok! Although I've had a spark account for maybe 5 years? I think.. It has been almost a year since I've actually been on and active! I joined this challenge because I am hoping that this will help keep me motivated to lose the extra poundage I gained within the last year! I need something to push me to get back into eating healthier and working out more and this challenge seems like fun!

Im hoping being a part of this challenge will help me lose a few pounds. Im not shooting for all the weight that I gained to be gone in a snap! Im taking baby steps right now. Slow and steady wins the race! I just wanna feel a little more confident in my skin and a little less snug in my jeans emoticon

I have had so much TROUBLE trying to start again. I did the January Jumpstart just fine but I am having trouble doing this one. I am off this next week so I will be trying to start again with the exercise. Part of it is because I have a job that is not physical and I had to go to production, which is more physical. So I have been more tired than usual. But I do weigh 214 so I do need to lose it desperately. Looking forward to coming back tonight and being able to tell you that I exercised today. Good luck everyone. emoticon

I've done this challenge before (on a different account; no longer using that one) but couldn't manage to complete all four weeks. So here's to breaking old habits and finishing what I started.

I forgot how challenging these videos are. Man, did Friday's video--the 6-minute butt blasting workout--kick my butt! "Oh, only six minutes," I thought, "it'll be a breeze!" No. That was foolish thinking. Ow. Ow ow ow. But also wow, because after just a week I'm already seeing and feeling results (like a tighter butt with a visible lift, dang).

Week one down, three weeks to go!

I'm completely new to this challenge...however I have been using the kickboxing videos for several days now...I also walk everyday...generally between 3 and 5 miles! I hope to see some weight shed!I have completed the kickboxing video for today...however i am in arizona and my walk won't come until it begins to cool down this afternoon...I would love to get up and walk in the mornings but my 4 year old isn't a fan of that.

I can and will do this!!!!

I've completed day 3 workout video. I have to laugh at myself and how much I have to modify the moves to stay within my current range of movement. I'm looking forward to week 4 and comparing how I do then to how I'm doing now.

Week 1 Day 1 I've done the cardio kickboxing video a couple times before. I had to modify it due to limitations. I wish I could modify the calories burned on my fitness tracking. Does anyone know if that is possible?

W1 D5 Just completed video. I could do most - only had to modify side planks.

Texas Gal - you can do it!! The videos are only about 10 minutes a day- something you can always fit in sometime.

On another note- I lost my activity tracker today! I had changed the battery and must not have put it back on right- it fell off the clip on my shoe emoticon I love having the activity tracker. I may have to buy a new one.

Hello Everyone,
Like you this is my first week here. I want to start doing things I can stick too. With that said, I will be doing a video per day during the challenge, walk at least a hour at work M thru F. Starting Monday, I intend to add a 45 min spin class M,W, & F (if I like it), and do 30 mins on the elliptical on Sat & Sun.

My short term exercise goal is to lose eight pounds this month.

Help? I am new to this challenge, the email mentions it is going to tell me what I am supposed to do as a workout, no workout I can see. Where do I look to find the daily challenges?
