My goal is to get back into exercise after a long cold winter and surgery. And hopefully, lose a couple of pounds.

Ok! Although I've had a spark account for maybe 5 years? I think.. It has been almost a year since I've actually been on and active! I joined this challenge because I am hoping that this will help keep me motivated to lose the extra poundage I gained within the last year! I need something to push me to get back into eating healthier and working out more and this challenge seems like fun!

Im hoping being a part of this challenge will help me lose a few pounds. Im not shooting for all the weight that I gained to be gone in a snap! Im taking baby steps right now. Slow and steady wins the race! I just wanna feel a little more confident in my skin and a little less snug in my jeans emoticon

I have tried this challenge before, but did not make it to complete all for weeks. I am back and ready to do this. I need to do this. For me. So, I am here again, introducing myself again, and getting ready to hit the ground running tomorrow. I am determined to do this right and be successful! Wishing you all good luck as we take this journey together.

I have had so much TROUBLE trying to start again. I did the January Jumpstart just fine but I am having trouble doing this one. I am off this next week so I will be trying to start again with the exercise. Part of it is because I have a job that is not physical and I had to go to production, which is more physical. So I have been more tired than usual. But I do weigh 214 so I do need to lose it desperately. Looking forward to coming back tonight and being able to tell you that I exercised today. Good luck everyone. emoticon

I am starting fresh and trying to keep it real. I have lost 199 lbs, but have been stagnant since December due to shoulder surgery and depression. I must honor myself to get this transformation complete...

I've done this challenge before (on a different account; no longer using that one) but couldn't manage to complete all four weeks. So here's to breaking old habits and finishing what I started.

I forgot how challenging these videos are. Man, did Friday's video--the 6-minute butt blasting workout--kick my butt! "Oh, only six minutes," I thought, "it'll be a breeze!" No. That was foolish thinking. Ow. Ow ow ow. But also wow, because after just a week I'm already seeing and feeling results (like a tighter butt with a visible lift, dang).

Week one down, three weeks to go!

I'm completely new to this challenge...however I have been using the kickboxing videos for several days now...I also walk everyday...generally between 3 and 5 miles! I hope to see some weight shed!I have completed the kickboxing video for today...however i am in arizona and my walk won't come until it begins to cool down this afternoon...I would love to get up and walk in the mornings but my 4 year old isn't a fan of that.

I can and will do this!!!!

I've completed day 3 workout video. I have to laugh at myself and how much I have to modify the moves to stay within my current range of movement. I'm looking forward to week 4 and comparing how I do then to how I'm doing now.

Week 1 Day 1 I've done the cardio kickboxing video a couple times before. I had to modify it due to limitations. I wish I could modify the calories burned on my fitness tracking. Does anyone know if that is possible?

W1 D5 Just completed video. I could do most - only had to modify side planks.

Texas Gal - you can do it!! The videos are only about 10 minutes a day- something you can always fit in sometime.

On another note- I lost my activity tracker today! I had changed the battery and must not have put it back on right- it fell off the clip on my shoe emoticon I love having the activity tracker. I may have to buy a new one.

Hello Everyone,
Like you this is my first week here. I want to start doing things I can stick too. With that said, I will be doing a video per day during the challenge, walk at least a hour at work M thru F. Starting Monday, I intend to add a 45 min spin class M,W, & F (if I like it), and do 30 mins on the elliptical on Sat & Sun.

My short term exercise goal is to lose eight pounds this month.

Week 1 day 4: So far, so good!! Lost 1.6 lbs this week. The videos are great as they are easy to fit in- For cardio- I've been walking on my breaks and lunches at work- the weather here in Pueblo, CO has been very nice, despite the wind and brief cold snap! Wishing everyone the best of luck with this challenge! emoticon

Week 1 - D2 Video was hard for me but got through it. I should start doing it everyday! LOL Also did upper body strength training video for 30 minutes, 20 pushups, and 2 sets of 45 calf raises. I think I should be doing more though because I am not losing weight! (I lost app 26 before starting SP). emoticon Cheers

Glad to have you back SABLENESS- take it easy and don't overdo it we want you around for the long haul

Day 2 - did the 10-Minute Crunchless Core Workout - have you ever tried doing that with the help of a dog. Well I think that ups the intensity level to a 12 she got under my back and decided to help me she thought I was having trouble doing the sit-ups so she was trying to shove me up - over and over again - I really wish I had of recorded it - it would have been more fun to watch than to experience that being said - emoticon

w1d6 after a 5 day sickness lull. I'm so glad this was a short one. My energy level is still low, and since I'm supposed to go back to work tomorrow, I don't want to overdo. Still, it felt good to be back in motion without my head pounding or starting a coughing fit. I'm thinking about going to Curves and doing half a workout for cardio. I'll see how that feels, and if it's still too much, I'll do a couple of easy machines and go home.

So here I am Week -1 -- it is late at night so I will actually officially start tomorrow.

My goals for this week are:

Monday through Friday - 15 Minutes - Aerobic Exercise in the mornings Monday through Friday (walking on my Treadmill) and 10 Minutes Toning with Dumbbells in the afternoon/evening.

And to track it all

My hope is that I lose 1 pound this week

I started on March 1 2014 and I am in Day 5 and on Saturday I will have completed the first week using my own videos daily, TM, Aerobics, and ST. I am expecting weigh loss of 15 lbs by March 31st. I have also decreased my calorie intake staying in the range of 1200-1500 daily and that has helped me. I am excited about the outcome and cannot wait to see the results. emoticon emoticon

One of the things I found about SP is that they have videos for everything and everyone. If you have challenges you can sit in a chair and work out from your desk. I just love it.

Day 1: have to adapt a few moves due to restrictions. Hoping & working to increase both flexibility & general fitness. I did this challenge a few years ago, but life threw me a few curves. Using this to get back on track. Doing some yoga & walking also with the challenge.

Hang in there, Becca. I hope you've checked out the seated workout videos. Is there something you can substitute for thinking about food?

W1D4 - did video and some of the best pushups I've done in awhile, on knees of course. Need to keep working on upper body strength. I plan to walk at lunchtime.

I'm here because I've basically been on a plateau for a year now, and would like to shake things up. I exercise reguarly, but due to knee issues, don't work out as hard as some folks can. And I still have a lot of days that are filled with emotional eating. Today I tracked my food, did some walking even tho' my knees are still giving me pains do to yesterday's fall, but I'm tired and keep thinking about food.
