Started week 1 yesterday. This will definitely be a challenge, but I know I need it.

My goal is to fit into my wedding dress by the end of it. I'm not too far off, totally doable. I need a good exercise routine to stick to.

Week one went fine for me. Just had trouble with the Palates.
I don't have good balance and I have trouble holding the planks.
However, I made through the video alright. My goals are to:
1) Become better balance and become healthy(mind body soul and spirit)
2) Tone up my arms and legs. That will help since I am starting a new job.
(Will be doing a lot of lifting at Wal-Mart))
3) Long term would love to keep up with my boyfriend and family member and not feel winded. This one is getting much better. (Got more energy now since I started exercising). Hope you are all well. Have a good day and a great weekend! Holly

Yesterday was a day off and a great day to catch up with Day 1 and 2 of the challenge. I am hoping this will help me break through a plateau. Weather was nice and I took advantage by getting some extra steps in while shopping. Good luck everyone.

I finished day 2. Had a 20 minute walk outside today and did the day 2 abs video. Wow. I am out of shape. Although, my abs are still pretty strong underneath! It was my thighs that were shaking like crazy doing the sit ups!!

I didn't start this on the day I planned to and I haven't prepared myself very well.

How do I start over?

I have been doing as much as I can and I have lost 7 lbs and some inches so I am pleased. I even did a cardio exercise in my chair at work just so I wouldn't lose the time to do it.

Planning is what I am trying to teach my kids and I am having a really tough time doing it myself.

I hurt my knee at work today, so only did a soak in the bath, I am having early starts so that is a full 11 hours on my feet.

Just did week one Day 2 video (it's my first day, but I want to do Day 1 last to suit my needs better.) Phew I forgot how tough it was!

I've started this challenge a ton of times but I'm not sure I ever finished it. Want to Fall into Shape this time. Just need something to kick up my workout plan a notch and hoping this'll do it and get me past my plateau.

Goals: Tone up. Feel strong again like I did in October of last year. Finish this challenge. Beat the plateau.

I feel your pain! I have an hour commute each way...also work a long day. I leave the house at 6:30 am and back home around 7/8. I have found that exercising in the morning works best for me. We have a small gym at my work (and there are other locations nearby)...and I am there by 7:30 for exercise, grab a shower, and head up to my office! If that doesn't work...try walking during lunch time.

So I am starting this today and my major challenge for the week is going to be consistency. I always track my food, though I do better some days than others, because the tracker is useless if I don't tell it the truth. It's exercise that is my problem. I get up extremely early and then am at work for 9 and a half hours a day with a 45 minute commute on either side, so I am usually very tired when I get home. If I can manage not to take naps in the afternoon then I can do my workouts and it will all be ok. But that means I need to go to bed on time every day as well, so I don't feel like I need the naps so much. Funny enough, exercise should help with that problem, so here's hoping that adding a little more structure is what I have been needing!

Just did Week 1 Day 5 video. Of course I started on June 18. So that's 13 days to do 5 days of exercise. It's a new week. I KNOW I can do better. I need to have the TV lower so I can watch it without looking Up off the floor. Maybe on a laptop would be better. I can feel the abs burning after that Pilates workout though. That's a good thing. I am on Week 1 Day 3 also and my form is so horrible I am glad nobody is watching ! I just tried to do the best I could and make sure I didnt kill myself ! I have a very hard time with anything backwards bending or lifting up my trunk. My back is saying no no ! I am sure that if I had a person in my living room telling me what I am doing wrong it would be better but as the French say "C'est la vie"

I'm on Week 1, Day 3. Just finished the video for the day. I'm actually surprised at how much I can actually do. My form is horrible and that is something I need to work on but the fact that they are short and not overly complicated (so far) makes it a really easy thing to slip into my crazy schedule.

I'm unsure if my neighbors downstairs would appreciate me doing the kick boxing video above them. Doesn't look too high intensity but I try to be super careful not to disturb them by doing high intensity workouts above them! Bands and stability ball work outs work well though!

our new baby,,,we got her 4 weeks ago today,,,,weighed in at 9.9 and then 2 weeks ago at vet was up to 12.5,,,she goes back on the 4th for one more shot and a weigh in,,,,we are thinking maybe 15 by then....her older sister is just turned 3 and weighs 23 lbs.,,,,,think our new girl will be around 35 lbs.,,,,we are still potty training but at least the night time sleeping issue is done....10 pm till 7am is a very good thing.
with Terrier in your baby,,,I bet you get a good work out......we have dear friends that have 5 rescue Chihuahua's and they are precious...

Ah I'm forgetting the video's. It's been so nice in Seattle that I've been taking my dog on extended walks (even though I'm only logging as 20 minutes because he stops to sniff and pee so much!). No problems with the nutrition end, but struggling mightily with the videos. I'm into week 2 of week 1. My knees seem to be a previously undiscovered problem. I can do cardio or strength training, but not both on the same day. I will continue working out daily, but have to build up to the real challenge.

Day 2, Week 1. Did the crunchless core video. Made it through, but my knees and wrists really ache! Only did a few minutes of walking before my knees made me stop. I hope to get more walking later today. I don't want to push to hard and have to stop altogether.

My goal is to actually stick with it, 4 weeks. Not too hard, but I never seem to follow through.

Someone once told me it takes 3 month to form a new habit. Thinking about it makes 3 months seem like a long time, but if i break it down to weekly or daily goals I can hopefully make this a habit!

My main goal for week one is to simply do it!!!!

Day 1 - I did the kick boxing video. This was quite hard for me. I've let myself get way out-of-shape. That video used to be a breeze - something I did on a light day! Back on the food tracker too. I downloaded the new app too.

Day 0 week 1. I would have said day 1 but i never received an email from sparkpeople for my first exercise so I guess I"ll have to do that tomorrow ??

Week 1 Day 2 Done

My goal for tomorrow to get my cardio in is to do 3 10 min walks on my breaks at work.
