I forgot I had this recipe and don't know where I got it but is is great and easy. Try it when the crave hits for a reuben sandwich. I'm going to write it as I have it but this can be easily cut back in my opinion and be equally good.
Place in a casserole in order given: Sauerkraut- a one pound can drained 2 sliced tomatoes 4 tablespoons Fat-Free Thousand Island dressing l pound “Lite” smoked sausage, sliced and split 8 ounces Reduced Fat Swiss Cheese, shredded 8 rye crackers crumbled
Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or until warm and cheese is melted
I cut the cheese back to 4 ounces but next time I will use 2 ounces and one half pound sausage
