Cabbage Sausage Dinner (pg 270)
6 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
3 cups diced unpeeled raw potatoes
1 cup chopped onion
2 cups frozen cut green beans, thawed
1 3/4 cups (1 15 oz can) Swanson beef broth
(I just used 2 beef bouillons and 2 cups water)
16 oz Healthy Choice 97% Polish Kielbasa sausage
cut into 18 pieces

Spray cooker with butter flavored spay. Combine cabbage, potatoes,
onion and green beans in cooker. Pour broth evenly over veges and
arrange the sausage pieces on top. Cover and cook LOW for 8 to 10
hours. Mix well before serving.

6 servings

HE 2 veges, 1 3/4 protein, 1/2 bread, 8 cal

191 cal, 3 gm fat, 13 gm proteing, 28 gm carbs
911 mg sodium, 96 mg calcium, 4 gm fiber

Diabetic: 2 veges, 2 meat, 1 starch

Weight Watchers: 3 points

This is so filling and if on WW you could eat 2 big plates and still
only eat 6 points. I like to make a meal at night and have the
leftovers for lunch. This way I don't have to think about what to
prepare for lunch...it's already there.
