8 ounces 90% lean turkey or beef 1/2 c (2.5 ounce jar) sliced mushrooms, drained 3 tablespoons (3/4 ounce) dried fine bread crumbs 2 tablespoons skim milk 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1 1/4 c water 1 c (2 1/4 ounces) instant potato flakes 1/3 c carnation nonfat dry milk powder 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes non fat sour cream 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes 1 teaspoon chili seasoning 1/3 (1 1/2 ounces) shredded kraft reduced fat cheddar cheese 1 tablespoon Hormel bacon bits
Oven 350. Spray 8x8 baking dish with butter flavored cooking spray. In medium bowl, combine meat, mushrooms, bread crumbs. Add skim milk and black pepper. Mix well to combine. Pat mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake 30 minutes. Meanwhile in medium saucepan, bring water to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in potato flakes, dry milk powder, and sour cream. Add parsley flakes and chili seasoning. Fluff well with fork. Spread potato mixture evenly over partially baked meat mixture. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese and bacon bits evenly over top. Continue baking 15 minutes. Place baking dish on wire rack, let set 5 minutes. 4 servings
