Green Pepper Skillet Burgers

16 ounces ground 90 percent lean turkey or beef
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
6 tablespoons (1 1/2 ounces) dried fine bread crumbs
1 3/4 cups (1 15-ounce can) Hunt's Chunky tomato sauce
1/2 cup sliced onion
1 cup coarsely chopped green bell peppers
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Brown Sugar Twin

In a large bowl, combine meat, black pepper, bread crumbs and 1/4 cup tomato sauce. Using a 1/3-cup measure as a guide, form 6 patties. Place patties in a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray. Brown patties on both sides. Add onion and green peppers. Continue cooking 4 to 5 minutes. Stir mustard, Worcestershire sauce and Brown Sugar Twin into remaining tomato sauce. Pour sauce mixture evenly over top. Lower heat. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
Serves 6.

Each serving equals: 158 calories, 6 grams fat, 15 grams protein, 11 grams carbohydrates, 622 milligrams sodium and 1 gram fiber.
