Here's my version of the old standby. It's an easy meal to make for a crowd, or perfect fore those weekend suppers in front of the TV when a favorite movie is on. Cliff says he could eat this every week and never get tired of i. One of my newsletter subscribers' husbands says it's the next-best thing to making love!

Serves 6 (1/3 cup filling)

16 ounces ground 90% lean turkey or beef
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 cup Hunt's tomato sauce
1/2 cup chunky salsa
1 tablespoon Brown Sugar Twin
6 reduced-calorie hamburger buns (80 calories each)

In a large skillet sprayed with olive-oil-flavored cooking spray, brown meat and onion. Add tomato sauce, salsa, and Brown Sugar Twin. Lower heat and simmer 5 to 20 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.

Each serving equals:
HE: 2 Protein, 1 Bread, 1 Vegetable, 1 Optional Calorie
