I did that for a good two years, I rarely had the same thing twice. But, since having my daughter, I get in ruts much easier, too tired to figure out something new! lol

Now that's funny, because I'm the opposite of you two! I guess I'm just wired to keep looking for new ideas. Every once in a while my husband will say, "Do you remember that ___ you made? Do you think we could have it again?"

There are exceptions, though. I've made the same pumpkin pie three times in the last few months!

Carole I know what you mean. I have recipes marked in all my books to try!! LOL Now I just have to get with it and actually make them.

One problem I have is I'll make something I love and keep fixing it without trying other recipes. emoticon

Heather you are gonna love those green beans.

I haven't tried anything from January yet, Sarah, and now it's almost February! But you've inspired me. Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes I get so overwhelmed by the vast amount of books & newsletters, and hardly know where to begin. Back before Christmas, I borrowed Heather's idea and read completely through a cookbook, marking recipes I wanted to try - Make a Joyful Table, I think. Then I got sidetracked and haven't gone back to it yet.
