Thank you LAMOURA. I'm taking a minimum of 2 Tbl a day and try for 3 a day. Sometimes I scramble an egg in CO, put it on an english muffin (this is delish), pour it on my salad or in a smoothie. I also use the coconut cream (butter) quite a bit, this is also very good on a muffin, I've also mixed it in my yogurt or cottage cheese. I use coconut milk some, but not very often and not very much. Oh yeah, I really (and I know most everyone has turned their nose up at this LOL) like it in hot tea.

to LAMOURA!!

Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul

I'm going down by tenths too. But downwards is better than upwards I always say to myself after stepping off the scale.
So I'll congratulate you Laura.
My ducky weight ticker still lies but I'm determined to catch up with that duck!!

I lost a half a pound this week but I'm not braggin. I gained nearly 2 pounds the week before so I'm still heavier than when we started this weigh-in thread. I should change my ticker but that seems so defeating...LOL. I'll let you know when I get down to what my ticker says.

I weigh on Fridays. My start weight is 134.4. I want to get to 128lbs then see if 125 is attainable for me. My husband said if I get to my goal he will pay for me to get a tummy tuck. I had 4 babies in 5 years so it is quite needed, even when I weighed 116 it was needed. So that's my incentive.

Not this week, but I have also had my DH here, and things kind of go sideways in the eating department when he's in town. Eating out quite a bit, etc.
But, I'm back on track tomorrow. I think I may skip this weigh-in. lol

I'm afraid to look.
I know I ate too much grain and sugary stuff this week. I just dip too much when cooking for a group. But if I don't cook for a group then I don't get to cook this yummy stuff at all...
Would ya listen to all the shifty rationalizations??!
Want some Swedish Press Cookies??
How about some luscious Swedish Meat Balls swimming in groovy gravy.
And then some Swedish Sour Cabbage with Apples (hey, that almost sounds good for me!)
...sigh....
You guessed it; a Swedish themed potluck and Ducky does herself proud again.

160# Like when I was full-term pregnant! emoticon

If I could get local, really raw honey that I trust, I would go sugar-free. Though honey is a sugar, it does not seem to bother, but it helps me when not heated for filtering. I was not sugar-free yesterday, but will count the days that I am this month.

To get rid of Candida oat bran, coconut oil, and grain/sugar-free; even honey is not great except as a nibble on an empty stomach, which is how I lost "The last 10 pounds"--- years ago, in 4 months, without even trying. My eating habits were better then: I had a good garden spot and access to a lot of fruit that I picked and ate as its own meal---and raw walnuts that I husked and cracked myself.

Short-term goal Lose 5 # in April. Long term Get a hive of bees on this place.
Reward for reaching the short-term goal: Get the big log, in the yard, split, so I can prepare it for a bee hive.

Today's bad news: 166.2 and all my measurements are the same. My ultimate goal is 140, but I go into healthy BMI at 148 so will reevaluate then. Come on coconut oil! And it is out for a run for me today!

I am with you Annie! I won't buy any bigger clothes either! Been wearing sweats and stretchy athletic pants!

Yeah, when I was below 125 I chucked all my "fatty" clothes and got myself some real nice "hotty" duds. Now, after gaining all this weight back I don't have any nice clothes to wear. Just my old barn jeans and a couple dowdy skirts that have elasticized waists. I hate this. I refuse to go buy bigger stuff and put the "skinny" stuff in the basement. I JUST REFUSE! So I'm schlepping around in frumpy stuff (the same frumpy stuff every day) until this weight is OFF OFF OFF for good!

I won't feel satisfied 'til I'm 9.8 down from my present 134.2 (this morning's weight)

-Dr. Andrew Saul

oh yeah, I forgot my reward!
I'm going to California to see my 3 sisters in May so my reward, hopefully at goal by then, will be a couple of nice new outfits, a manicure, and a nice gift for each of them.

One pound until I reach my goal, then probably change it to 5 lbs. more so I have breathing room!
One pound until the wretched BMI says I'm in "normal range.

I'll start (since I'm so darn thrilled! lol)
Today's weight: 161.6

When I get to 160 I am going to reward myself with a new ticker. 160-150 will be my maintenance zone. I think I looked pretty darn good at 155 (the pics on my Spark page)

You can post your weight, your measurements or you body fat %. Whatever method you use to track your progress. Tell us your short term goals, long term goals and any rewards you plan for yourself
