Question about eating it right off the spoon ..... is there a best time to do so? Like, early in the morning before breakfast? With food? Without ???

It doesn't make it unhealthy. Also, coconut oil melts at a very low temperature. The fact that coconut oil doesn't oxidize in our bodies (from heat) is ONE OF the major reasons why it is such a healthy fat. It doesn't get "sticky" (oxidization) like veggie oils and cause atherosclerosis.
I've read somewhere that HEATING coconut destroys the good chemical makeup that we want from the coconut oil. It changes it and make it UNhealthy. I just thought I would share that. I have coconut oil in my smoothies and love putting it on my skin. I use it as eye makeup remover because it is gentle and I have noticed that the lines around my eyes are going away. I also use it (a tiny bit) on my face as a moisturizer. When I use it, strangely, I don't have pimples (yes, I'm 40 and still occasionally get them) but when I run out of oil and go for about a week without it....I have a breakout!!! Just got my first jar of coconut oil in the mail yesterday. I can't really bring myself to eat it from a spoon...so I put it in my blender (teaspoon as they said it might have side effects if taken too much right away) and added some mixed fruit I cut up yesterday, some almond milk, and mixed it up. Was not too bad...but it didn't all mix up and was sort of clumpie in there...maybe I didn't blend enough...but I drank it...I would do anything to get myself back into a healthy place. thanks for the ideas...oh yeah, decided to rub some on my hands...it really is nice! d
