Oil pulling? I can't decide if I think that's intriguing or if that's bunk, but I guess I'm glad that some of the sites that link lead me to admit that it sounds like a pile of garbage. I dunno, I might try it. We'll see...

Mmmmmm, I LOVE coconut milk ice cream! So Delicious's Mint Chocolate Chip is deadly, plus I think they have a chocolate peanut butter one, too, and I like their cookie dough, too! A slightly harder-to-find brand, but with a huge assortment of flavors, is Luna & Larry's. Mmmmm...

I would like to find one that uses eggs too... more like custard. Let me know if you find a recipe.
And yes on the Stevia. That is what I always use.

Nice! I am also going to try and find one that uses eggs. II want to use stevia to sweeten; I'm hoping the eggs will keep it creamier. Not like ICE. lol
I printed that one out. emoticon emoticon

There are so many coconut milk ice-cream recipes out there on the web, and so many flavor combinations...

So that's my "recipe" skin care!! Lol!

I've been using coconut oil like mad on my skin especially with how horribly dry our weather is here. I use it head to toe, literally -- love it! I have found that after washing my face and swabbing it with a cotton ball in green tea, my skin has never looked as good!

For some reason I'm suddenly having a hard time finding carob (I used to get it all the time!) so I ended up making this recipe with regular cocoa powder. Delicious, but not really in the spirit of the thing :) Anyway, I'm sure the raw cacao would work fine!

Oh! Thanks! I have all these ingredients except carob. I guess it would work out just as well if I use my raw cacao???
Thanks again!

It's kind of hard to tell, but there's actually a link to it on the page - I had that same problem at first. Here's the direct link though:
http://www.addictedtoveggies.com/2010/08
/triple-chocolate-fudgy-brownies.html

Make sure you only use half the recipe for the chocolate part.

I brought these in for my coworkers today and have gotten some pretty good reactions, considering that this is not a raw food, vegan kind of crowd :)

I'm so glad this team was created! A couple of weeks ago I found a site called Addicted to Veggies:
http://www.addictedtoveggies.com

It has good recipes, some that use coconut oil, and just yesterday I finally made their raw, vegan "Ice Cream Sandwiches". They are so delicious.
