Honestly every time I hear Sinbad talk about growing up in our generation I laugh....because he was right:
"When you get it home, it was "Take off your school clothes and put on your play clothes!" And you what your play school were? Some school clothes that was too tight."
On playing outside:
"We came up with some dumb stuff. Dumb stuff. We had a game we would play where we would hide in the bushes on the side of the road, and wait for a car to come, and jump out, and try to make the car stop. Sometime you win...sometime you don't. That's what makes it a good game. And kids growing up in the 70's...they could take a hit. They didn't die. Car come at you like "BOOM!", guy get out the car saying "Are you ok?" and you be laying on the ground saying "KILL ME! THESE ARE MY SCHOOL PANTS! MY MAMA'S GONNA KILL ME!"
On having too much stuff:
"Problem is today that kid got to much stuff. Kids be like "Oh I forgot about this." You didn't forget about NOTHING in the 70's! You be in your room, "This my one sock. This my one NICE shirt....""
"Kids got CD players now. Don't even have to wait for a song just *button click noise* JUMP JUMP. I had a 8 track. You ain't lived 'till you had a 8 track...You wanna listen to a song again? Let's ride around. That's your fast forward; keep riding till the song come back up."

"Nobody important? Blimey, that's amazing...in 900 years of time and space I have never met anyone who wasn't important before."
