I am still going between 140-145 it is starting to cool off so hopefully we will be able to get back to our long walks in the evening after work. :) My back is also feeling a bit better :) :) :)

I held steady this week. Given what I ate yesterday, that could be water weight, but whatever, I'll go for it.

Considering that I'm laid up right now, I should probably change my activity level in my tracker, and accept lower calories per day until I get this knee/ankle/leg feeling better again.

I really need to get serious. and be super strict. It is the only way I have ever lost weight. I need to eat less the 1000 calories a day. I also need to do longer work outs . I have been going easy on myself because of my back. When I first joined I got down to 125 from 137. I have crept back up to 140-145 while it is a healthy weight I really feel better between 125-130. Wish I could buy some tough love pills to motivate my self .. SIGH

You are within a healthy weight, and only have a few pounds to lose. Those are the few pounds that are always the hardest to get off. Maybe you could budget a few visits with a professional nutritionist.

Ahhhh farm work is a very pleasant break from that household. I can not let the kids in when I work or feed. The goats and donkey's are silly and greedy I would not want any one stomped. I let them help gather eggs . Other then that ME TIME hahahaah We also take the little donkey for a walk. Fun times:)

emoticon I was at the Dr the other day and with clothes was 140 :( Waaaaaaaa I really need to get a grip. I have been trying to add some of my weight work back into my morning but still no floor moves :( Oh well this too shall pass.

I prefer not to weigh in when my fingers feel like sausages too. It's not particularly helpful information to know how much you weigh when bloated.

I have an interesting story to tell about the only time I've ever come close to getting sea sick. The circumstances were pretty extreme, but I overcame the feeling with visualization, LOTS of visualization.

Well sounds like you have a great plan. slow and steady will win the race every time. Flash in the pan just burns out emoticon I have not weighed in this week. I thought about it when I saw your post but my fingers are looking like sausages so I know I am retaining a lot of water today (I ate salt on my watermelon) SHEESH I can add 10 pounds just doing that so will wait hahaha
I always liked to fish as a kid but we did it from the bank.. noone had a boat. In fact I get very sick on a boat LOL

Both of my doctors and my nutritionist want me to start eating fish again. The problem is, I come from fisher folk, and I can't bring myself to pay money for fish. Thing is, I'm the only one left in the family with a working boat...12' long, styrofoam hulled sail boat. Try landing a king salmon on one of those! Oh well, I could try fighting the crowds for some combat fishing on the Kenai, but I'd rather eat a nice salad.

I don't have cholesterol problems, but I do have high blood pressure and metabolic syndrom. Of course I'm also at greater risk for recurrence of the cancer as long as I'm carrying all this extra weight.

I'm down another pound this week!

congrats :) I do not eat meat eat fish once in a while . Use healthy fats cholesterol was still high so tried natural things for a few years and cut back to everything..HA still too high now I am on meds and trying to loose the same 10 pounds for the last year or so .It might have to do with medicine I really do have a fairly healthy life style It is just making me crazy

Low fat is sure better than non-fat. Your body needs some fat. I'm vegetarian and lactose intolerant, so I really get very little cholesterol in my diet. I still eat eggs, but that's it for my cholesterol intake.

But now I'm going to skip to my news! I lost 2 pounds this week!!!!!! I still have 3 pounds to go to the 10 pound mark since I joined SP, but this is 10 below my top weight.

I have been trying that a bit. I gained a lot of weight when I cut back to non fat foods to try to lower my cholesterol. I am slowly switching back to low fat .

Maybe you could shake things up a bit with your eating routine? Try a totally different breakfast, or have breakfast for dinner or something. I sometimes find that stepping outside my comfort zone will help give me a new perspective on the problem.

I finally go hold of my doctor, and he adjusted my meds, so hopefully the swelling in my feet will go down, maybe even by tomorrow morning for weigh in. That would be awesome!

I totally understand where you're coming from there. It's taken me forever to start losing again. My Oncologist forced me into menopause 4 years ago. Can we say icky meds?

did you look at the salt shaker.. Salt makes me retain water and bloat up like a toad.


Okay I just got off the scale ..129 :) YIPPIE I ahve really been trying hard....I have also not used myhormone patch in 3 weeks I have been sleeping okay and have not had a hot flash. I really do not like using it. so I tried skipping a week. and have stopped now Hope I can stay off it.

I hard a real hard time over the Holidays!
And even today it is so hard to get going on the water and the exercise! But I am trying, I don't want to not be able to wear those pants I found in my closet!
