I held my weight over the winter, at least inside a few lbs either way. But really, that's my plan. I figure sooner or later I won't be looking to lose any more weight so I better be training myself to hold steady. I don't want to be in a constant state of losing or gaining.
Even while not really losing any weight, since joining the gym at the first of the year, people are saying it looks like I have lost weight.
I haven't lost weight. I have just lost more blubber and started stimulating my muscles again.
I am really excited to see what happens over the summer as I continue my strength training added to my walking routine which averages 27 or so miles a week.
My anticipation is the added bulk is going to really ramp up my metabolism, which I hope is the final step in this metamorphosis of sorts.
