I've been busy playing tennis to get myself off the plateau I've been stuck on. I'm 70 now and it takes more activity to do that. I did gain 5 pounds when I started, but lost 1.5 inches in my waist so I'm happy.
Most of us make goals. I think all of have to make goals, otherwise, how do we ever reach it? The question that remains for most of us is, how do I get there from here?
Sure it's easy to say, "I want to lose weight!", "I want to be a better Mom!", "I want to be a better wife!", "I want....", but how you get there is so important. Without a plan, our goal is not attained, or it will probably be a lot harder to get there. So once you figure out where you want to be, you need to figure out how to get there.
Sometimes its very hard to share our insecurities, indecisions, fears, and just plain unknown how-tos to other people, but we've all been there. We all had to learn how to make plans on how to get to our goals because we've all tried to make a goal without a plan of action. Reconsider your fears and post here so you can get past those fears and problems. Sometimes someone else, not so close to the "problem" can give us inspiration on how to get where we want to be.
I've been afraid to post and sometimes it's very difficult to post when you are afraid of it. But I can help there. Others can help easily and very well in other areas of fear or inability to figure it out. We want to help you. We are a group of people that are finding out ways to our own goals and we have found it is easier to get there with help from others. We are not alone. We understand.
