A change in what you tell yourself will result in a change in your behavior. What you impress upon your mind, you'll inevitably become.

Over your lifetime, have you ever been told by anyone that you were stupid, or ugly, or no good for anything... or even useless? (Just to name a few)
If you're told once it's bad enough but if you're constantly reminded by someone that you'll never amount to anything or whatever, soon you'll start to believe it! Every dig, every poke, every little hint to the negative... repeated over a long period of time will result in the person believing what is being said!
The same is true for compliments, smiles, a pat on the back, a "Job well done" you're awesome, fantastic, are you ever losing weight, you're right on the money...
or how about... you're smart, you can do it! how resourceful, you're pretty, or... I love you, I can live without you, you're the greatest... well you get the Idea!
If you have a goal to lose weight like most of us do... if you wake up every morning, put a smile on your face (I know..I know there's the mirror)and say "today is my day! I'm going to eat properly, I'm going to exercise, I'm going to get fit because that's what I want. and If you need reminders put up on the fridge...like "You're looking great! or I bet you're feeling great!" Every time you see the words or hear the words or someone reminds you that you're doing great guess what! Chances are... that day you'll do great!
Always stay away from the negative as much as you can! Believe in yourself, believe in your goals, believe in what you can accomplish daily and soon you will believe it and feel it inside and live it and enjoy it!
All you really need is to be positive and you need to remind yourself that not only can you do it... but You're worth it!
Impress on yourself the positive new you daily and you will believe it and in yourself!
You'll be glad you did!
