Sooo, this week went well. I even was well-behaved on Friday. Then Saturday cam and I didn't track any food. Instead I gorged on pizza, lasagna and beer. Also I have a severe addiction to Tostito's Scoops. Just something about those little bowl shaped tortilla chips gets me all excited. I too must believe that weekend calories don't exist.

Alas, new week, new attitude. I am keeping up with the working out, which is a super huge improvement. Perhaps I can make it past Friday and Saturday without any slacking!

Hope everyone else is having a good start to their week! Keep on keeping on! emoticon

I agree ... weekend calories should be free!

I was a very good girl yesterday and this morning the scale was down below where it was BEFORE the Superbowl ... so glad our bodies are forgiving.

Not me! I'm the perfect angel! emoticon I watch what I eat and I work out everyday! Yeah Me!

Wait...reality! lol! (I like my dream world, what can I say?!?)
For superbowl, I did really well. Had food at home. DH made healthy chicken-i.e. took chicken breasts, soaked have in hot sauce and half in Teriyaki sauce and cooked them. No breading, nothing! yeah! I also made healthier potato skins with a little sour cream and cheese-no bacon. But then I also had Taquitos. No chips and dips!

But then there was Saturday night...at a bar...for someone's birthday. Again, started out good-had Jack and diet coke, but that got expensive, so went to light beer. Couldn't tell you how many of those I had. And of course, being a birthday party, there was cake involved.

But like you said, a new beginning! I've been watching what I'm eating and working out this week! I think weekends should be "freebies" lol!


And yes, I did have some homemade hummus over the weekend too...

Every Time I hear that dirty word "Exercise" I wash my mouth out with "Chocolate" !!!!!!!!

Success is succeeding one more time than you fail!

I'm on a low-crap diet and a get-off-your-butt exercise plan.

I have lost myself, I have gone to find myself, should I return before I get back, Please have me wait!

Hummus is messing up? I wish I could mess up like that more often. Mine was a bag of cheetoes and an ice cream bar. Yep. When I screw up I do it well.

Parties are my WORST downfall. I was all prepared for last night's Superbowl gathering, and I even brought pom juice and diet ginger ale, so that I could have little non-alcoholic spritzers. Great ... except that somebody else brought chili (I had 2 bowls), and blondies with chocolate and toffee chips (I had 3). Sigh.

So today's a new day, just like every day. The best thing about making mistakes is that you can always learn something from them.

And, of course, if you're on this team, you can make fun of yourself for them! LOL.

Well, I don't feel so bad. Seriously tho, I did eat more than iI should have. Especially yesterday. Drinks and snacks. Back on track today. I am envious of your weight tho.

So this is going to be my first full week on Spark. I started on Tuesday and was going pretty strong. I stayed on point with my goals as far as working out and eating were concerned. By Friday I was feeling pretty proud of myself. I came into work all chipper, had my snacks all planned out for the movie night I was hosting at 8, and even left room for a couple of drinks! Yet the dream soon came to an end.

My friends that I had invited were flaking out on me, and then at the last minute decided to come with their three children. In the midst of a hectic work evening and getting a final head count for the movie night, the stress hit and the eating started.

And that set the tone for the whole weekend.

Chips were involved... Meatloaf, beer, Cheetos, more beer... I think there was even a Red Velvet Cupcake scarfing. After all the eating, today my stomach is hating me. It really was POed over my lack of control.

So here I am at work on Monday with a tummy ache. However I am keeping track of my food once more, and my excercise routine will begin tomorrow. It's a new week, and I will make the most of it. I hope I have learned my lesson.

I hope everyone else had more control than I did. If not, don't sweat it. Crap happens, and just leave the past where it is. I know I am trying to do just that!
