Hello!

Last night I went to bellydance class for an hour, and an hour yoga class. And I walked 6K from work to bellydance to yoga to home.

Hello! I rode a bike today for the first time in over a month. My nice bike was stolen but I got a used bike and it was in the shop getting safe for the road until now. Such a nice way to travel, instead of the very crowded public transit. Plus it saves money and burns calories!

Hello!

I ran for the longest time ever last night! My GPS konked out during the run but I'm pretty sure I ran 6K in just under an hour. Not sure! but I felt pretty good.

I'm running my first race on Sunday. It's a 5K at the Montreal Rock n Roll Marathon.

Hello! How are things going?

I'm in a Learn to Run clinic and finding that I have to run faster with the group than I do when I go running on my own. It's sometimes frustrating but I like the challenge!

Hi! I guess we're not a big enough group for monthly challenges. Let's use this thread to check in on our own goals.

I signed up for a 5K race September 23 so I'm back to running. I didn't run much in June and July because of the heat.

I'm planning to run 4 times a week until mid-September. Some say it's important to always have a rest day between runs but I'm going to maneouvre my runs around a bit like early morning one day and later evening the next day so I can sometimes run 2 days in a row.

I'll probably keep doing yoga but only once a week for now while I'm focusing on running. I go out for 30 min running sessions and haven't broken 4K yet.
