And jalepenos. Don't forget them. When I was pregnant with my second baby, I learned the wonders of jalepenos. I love the flavor too, so that helps. There are also some colon health supplements on the market for those days when you are on the road and don't have oatmeal and flax seed at hand. We use Manna Cleanse at our house.

Yeah, it is interesting that oatmeal has that benefit for me though as it contains "soluble" fiber versus "insoluble" and it's the insoluble that's supposed to help more with regularity, where the soluble helps more with cholesterol. Oh well, it works well for me for one reason or another! Or maybe it's the coffee...In any case, I like the oatmeal so I'll continue! Glad I made you realize you're not the only one! ;)
OMG! I totally thought it was just me! I feel like the only time that I "go" is on my day off! The rest of the week is barely worth the time. So glad to know that it isn't just me. I was always too embarrassed to ask! LOL! Thanks for sharing!

So, I don't know about anyone else but whenever I start a new round of "Game On!", I get a little "stopped up," if you know what I mean. Well, I've discovered what works for me to alleviate this issue...Good old fashioned oatmeal (healthy carb) w/ground flaxseed (healthy fat) mixed in, plus an extra cup of black coffee. ;) Of course, I also have my protein, which is usually egg whites. Now the only thing that's stopped up is the toilet....HAaaaahhh!!! ;)
