Isn't greek yogurt an awesome quick protein? I have a Magic Bullet. A relative bought it for me, and I thought it would be one of those things collecting dust in my kitchen, but it is the BEST for making smoothies. I mix either vanilla or honey greek yogurt with four frozen strawberries, 20 frozen blueberries, 1/2 of a fresh banana, a tablespoon of flaxmeal a 1/4c. of 2% milk. Blend and you have the perfect to-go breakfast. I also like to have this about 30 minutes before a long run or tough workout -- the carbs are very energizing!

One of my stand-by's is mixing fruit or applesauce (4 oz) into 4 oz of fat free greek yogurt adn then adding 2 Tb ground flaxeed to this. I've also used frozen blueberries, which makes it a pretty purple! The applesauce one doesn't look too appetizing...but adding cinnamon helps the flavor. :)
