Sounds like a good goal for your family and for me, too. I will do my very best to rid my home and family of junk food and remember to log in here with updates. I often need a challenge to keep me on track.

A couple of my family members have decided they want to start eating better and decided to eliminate most of the junk food from the diet for 6 weeks. Ha, I cheated three times the first day. But now I am serious... why do I want to continue to put things into my body that I know are not good for me??
I did well on day 2, except for the mints given at the end of a restaurant meal - I popped them into my mouth without thinking. So, I realize I need to focus on mindful eating, that is, being aware of everything I put in my mouth.
So, if you would like to join me in thhis informal challenge, post your successes and temptations and "I really should have done better" moments so we can all cheer you on and give you support and encouragement.
