Hope they help!
I've been getting the pain again lately, so have had to start doing the exercises again. It is uncomfortable, and time-consuming, but they work for me.

I almost had a heel spur! I had to get orthotics for plantar fascitis (the injury before the spur grows). I did exercises for it diligently. Perhaps they would help you.

edited to add - I also would stand on the floor with bare feet, with a hand towel just in front of my sore foot. I would scrunch the towel under my toes until most of it was under my foot. It stretches and exercises the small muscles under the foot, strengthening them to help support the sole of the foot.

It's been another morning again for me and not starting off well that's for sure. Having problems with a heel spur and having quite a bit of pain with it. Any suggestions on help with it? put insoles in my shoes and bought the shoes that have the extra pad on the heels and balls of the feel and still having a ton of problems. I don't want to have a shot put in my heel like my mom did so any suggestions would help me out. Also stress due to the son once again giving me tremendous headaches daily so that's not help either. I hope the rest of you are doing well.

I bet. That is not an easy situation. I, too, get very frustrated with my son. I keep telling myself that "this too will pass". I remind myself that the Bible does not say, "This too will stay."

CJ, I usually end up fixing me a pot of coffee sometimes and yes I do scream some days to get the frustrations out. It is finally getting warmer outside so I hope to get some walking and cleaning up done out there this week with Sarah. Today I cleaned up Christopher's room and ended up getting rid of 4 bags of trash. I can't get him to clean it up at all and get so frustrated with him that I end up doing it myself. Mikayla helped me with some of it but it's easier to do it all myself and I can get done quicker. At least that way I can work off some of my eating from the stress but doesn't make up for all of it. Yes I do feel worse afterwards CJ but just get so down in the dumps some days that it's hard for me to believe in myself.

That's how I feel sometimes, too, Cherly. That is very difficult. Try and remind yourself that when we eat to drown our feelings and stress, we just feel even worse afterward. Try a walking tape (I know you probably can't get out of the house very much), or brisk marching around the house, deep breathing, screaming into a pillow, putting on loud rock music and dancing hard for a few minutes, drinking a cup of hot, soothing tea.

You can do this!

My goal is to get back under 200 as well and want to be there by June 18th which is Sarah's 2nd birthday. I need all the support I can get because having problems with my son being disrepectful and all I want to do is eat and snack to deal with it. I must get my motivation back and get going.

Good goals!

I am just starting to hit my stride again, and have gained back my motivation to get this DONE once and for all.

I'm on my way, and will succeed in 2011.

Well after starting off so good last year, I ended the year with getting most all of it back again. So I am going to get going again. I have started doing my wii Fit Plus again and tonight am going to a fitness center for the first time and I am looking forward to it. My first goal is to be out of the 200's by my birthday in May.

If God brings you to it, He can bring you through it!
