I lost track a bit too. Luckily, I had my chart of exercise and things on my fridge, so I could see what I actually had done. Not as well as at the beginning, I`m afraid. I think I like 1 or 2 week long challenges.

I lost track the last couple weeks of the challenge. I know I got my water in everyday and always made time for myself or get some "couple time" in. Food and challenging myself were a different story all together.

M - water, time with my dh, and challenged myself (walked for the first time in ages, and did twice as much cardio as I was going to) - 15 points
T - water, within calorie range - 10 points
W - water, time with dh - 10 points
Th - water, time alone, challenged myself - 15 points

Total this week - 50 points
Total for whole challenge - 325 + 50 = 375 grand total!!

(3) Personal or Couple Time: Did well made sure I made time for myself and even got a date night in. 30 points

Ok I am in too. Last week I was running all week and did not do well. Had an after school meeting one day then back to Memphis for the last time. Christopher was finally released from breaking his jaw back the end of summer and finally can go without no restrictions. I need to lose so much to get back down where I was and back to having migraine once again as well. Pray I can keep it up and not stress eat.

Here's my keeping track post.

There are only four things to remember for this challenge:

(1) Water

(2) Within calorie range (or within your own program if it is different from sparkpeople's, ie. Weight Watchers or TOPS, etc.)

(3) Personal or Couple Time

(4) Challenge yourself

Monday:
(1) Water - yep - 10 glasses - 5 points
(2) Within Calorie Range - Yes! - 5 points
(3) Couple time - no. Tomorrow!
(4) Challenge yourself - nope. Tomorrow!

Tuesday:
(1) Water - 8 glasses - 5 points
(2) Within Calorie Range - over - 0 points
(3) Couple and Alone time - yes! Read novel for an hour at doc's office. (helped the long wait go faster!), and spent time with my dh - 5 points
(4) challenge yourself - nope. Want to do this one day! 0 points

Wednesday:
(1) Water - shucks. Can't remember. - 0 points
(2) Within Calorie Range - over - 0 points
(3) Couple/Alone Time - yes. I had time alone while driving (not that common). I even had time to pray - nice - 5 points
(4) Challenge myself - I challenged myself to walk as much as possible during all my duty times today instead of standing and observing. It helped that it was soooooo cold outside. It kept me warm! - 5 points

Thursday:
(1) Water - yes - 5 points
(2) Calorie Range - forgot everything I ate, so no idea - 0 points
(3) Couple/Alone Time - watched our favourite show together - 5 points
(4) Challenge myself - 0
Not a good day.

(2) Calorie Range - nope - 0 points
(3) Couple/Alone Time - a bit - we went through the corn maze together hand in hand, rounding up students at the high school activity night yesterday - 5 points
(4) Challenge myself - does forcing my way bodily through the haunted forest, especially the parts I was frightened of (like the giant rubber squeezing area that felt like I was being born again) count?

(1) Water - yep - 5 points
(2) Calorie Range - nope - 0 points

(4) Challenge myself - did more than the minimum 15 minutes today for cardio - 5 points

This is a great challenge idea and I'm going to try, the water will be the hard one. The time with my spouse will be the fun one.

So, the last challenge was quite, um, well, CHALLENGING. I know for myself, I got lost with all the points up and points down. Even though some team members gave it a go, we all sort of petered out as the week went on (although Sara gave it a great go, and earned many points!).

Anyway, so I am starting a *new* challenge to run until Thanksgiving.
We now have 32 days until American Thanksgiving (assuming I believe the site that told me you guys celebrate November 22, even though another site told me November 29 emoticon )

Let's keep it simple and do-able.

There are only four things to remember for this challenge:

(1) Water

(2) Within calorie range (or within your own program if it is different from sparkpeople's, ie. Weight Watchers or TOPS, etc.)

(3) Personal or Couple Time

(4) Challenge yourself


Okay, what do I mean for all these?

(1) Water - get in your 8 cups of water a day. If this is not a habit for you yet, then start with what you are doing now, and increase it slowly until you are getting in 8+ a day. In your first post, tell us how many you do get a day so we can see you improve as the days go by.

(2) Track your food here on sparkpeople, and stay within your calorie range, or follow your personal plan and stick with it.

(3) Make sure you get daily time alone with yourself for at least 15 minutes. If you ain't happy, ain't no one happy, remember that. Do what enriches you, whether that is taking a bubble bath, praying or meditating, going for a walk, reading a book you enjoy, etc.

If you prefer, as this is a Married Life challenge, you may choose to have personal time *or* time with your spouse. Either will count for this challenge.

(4) Challenge yourself - I want you to get a personal best with your fitness goals. If you're not sure what you're last best was, just guess, but this is for your fitness endeavours. If last time you walked a mile it took you 20 minutes, aim for less this time. If you could do biceps curls with 5lb weights last time, try a heavier weight this time -- or go for more reps! If you can only do 10 wall pushups at a time, go for 15, then 20, then 25. Or if the longest you could run or walk before was for 5 minutes, try to run for 6 minutes. It doesn't matter what the task is, and you can do a different one each day, or improve the same one for the length of the challenge, it's up to you.


Scoring:
Every day you:

(1) drink your water - give yourself 5 points

(2) stick with your program/eat within calorie range - give yourself 5 points

(3) have some quality time alone, or with your spouse, for at least 15 minutes - give yourself 5 points

Note - if your spouse is on this team with you, you each get 5 points if you spend your time together.

(4) challenge yourself - each day you challenge yourself - give yourself 5 points

So that's it. It takes longer to type it all out than it does to do it, I hope.
Maximum points per day is 20, if you get in water, take personal or couple time (at least 15 minutes), stick with your program, and challenge yourself.

You lose no points if you do not meet a goal one day - you just don't gain points.

Possible post for points:

Monday, October 22:
(1) Water - starting at 4 cups a day. Any day more than 4 I will get points.
Today - 4.5 cups - 5 points
(2) Went over calories - 0 points
(3) Had time with my husband! We raked the yard together - 5 points
(4) Didn't challenge myself - 0 points

Tuesday, October 23:
(1) Water - got 5 cups today - 5 points
(2) Stayed within calorie range - 5 points
(3) Had a bubble bath. Ahhhhh... - 5 points
(4) did 5 more reps on each leg than usual for my leg lifts - 5 points

Wednesday, October 24:
(1) Water - only got 4 cups today - 0 points
(2) Went under calorie range - 0 points
(3) Watched a movie with my dh and snuggled on the couch after kids were in bed - 5 points
(4) Tried modified push ups instead of wall ones - 5 points

And so on ...
