Hi everyone!
I wasn't sure how to total a lot of these entries as different people are including some activities that others are not.

Also, some people were only able to count time with dh as they couldn't exercise for the whole month. Others had difficulty spending time with dh as their only time is on the computer and technical difficulties arose.

I am therefore awarding all of us a big
emoticon
for attempting to spend specific time with our spouses and I hope we continue that into the winter months. A happy marriage is one in which we take the time to talk with our spouse or exercise with him/her, or just spend time BEING with them. I'm sure all our marriages have been strengthened by the time we did spend with them.

Likewise for the cardio, any extra movement in our day gets us closer to goal and makes us fitter.

Team I have asked CJ to tally up your minutes for me with this challenge. I just found out that I am expecting and have not done any exercising since I found out. Keeping me and the baby safe and in hopes I can carry if full term this time. I wish you all the best and will check back in on you.

I am starting this challenge today as it is the first official day I have been able to use our new computer on the Internet. (Yay!)

Time - 30 minutes with dh

10/11:
Time - 30 minutes with dh

10/13:
Time with dh - 60 mins playing computer games with dh
Cardio - 30 minute walk with family

10/14:
Time with hubby - 30 minutes
Cardio - 15 minutes exercise

10/15:
Cardio - 30 minutes exercise

10/16:
Time - 30 minute walk with hubby
Cardio - 45 minutes total

10/17:
Cardio - 45 minutes walking


10/18:
Cardio - 30 minutes walking

10/19:
Cardio - 45 minutes raking and 30 minutes walking

Wow! Where has this month gone? Here I was hoping Oct would settle down. I have been keeping up with cardio and spending time with my hubby, but haven't had time to post. We walk together every weekend. (20 miles usually). We have also been geocaching.

10/14 cardio 22 times up and down the 2 sets of stairs, 15 min chasing the dog through the park after she escaped from the house

20 minutes talking to hubby throughout the day, 180 minutes talking to hubby tonight woohoo

I am starting this challenge today as it is the first official day I have been able to use our new computer on the Internet. (Yay!)

Hubby and I spent some fun time playing computer games together this evening (family feud, and a penguin game). 'Twas fun!

I'm not sure what else we are supposed to do, and how to post it. I will read all about it tomorrow as I am quite tired now.

10/12 6 loads of laundry up and down the 2 sets of stairs in the house 50 times today woohoo no cardio since 10/3 due to being down because of pneumonia

Since 10/9 spent every single hour but 3 with hubby and some with hubby and daughter he finally came home for the weekend YAY! Till 2 pm today that is = 60 hrs total since 10/9

10/4 no cardio done too much on 10/3 put me back in bed still with pneumonia

Did have 180 minutes throughout the day on the phone with hubby woohoo

10/5 no cardio again still down

Another good day on the phone with hubby 240 minutees throughout

10/6 60 minutes heavy cleaning the house, up and down the stairs 17 trips down and up so far, probably have over done it again

Hubby back to work so only 80 minutes throughout the day emoticon

So sorry Russet. Is hubby in Iraq or Afghanistan? I've got friends and a brother-in-law in Iraq and more friends in Afghanistan and they lose internet connections all the stinking time or log so bad I lose them YIM. Hope you hear from him soon. emoticon

10/3 - 60 min of cardio...30 on elliptical and 30 on treadmill...i also had dinner with my husband...does not happen too often these days because husband after work goes to help build for their new clothing store.

10/1: Cardio (Laundry) 30 min.
Spouse time: 0 (He hadn't come online by the time I went to bed at midnight. Kuwait is 8 hrs ahead of me so he is at work. The last 2 mights the connection w/Kuwait was terrible...too many people online.)

10/2: Cardio (Vacuuming, Laundry) 60 min.
Chasing 2 yr. old grandson 20 min.
Spouse time: 0 so far (he hasn't come on line yet...may not be able to get online again or he is busy w/work.)

It doesn't say whether or not we need to post daily but just in case we do I am starting.

10/1 Cardio heavy cleaning 30 minutes (am sick with pneumonia that's all I can do today)

Spent 120 minutes total on the phone throughout the day with hubby who is working in NC at the present time.

I have been asked for 2 different things this month so we will do both. For our first challenge let's see how many minutes we can reach for cardio this month. Please keep me a running total on each post and will add up at the end of the month and see who our winner it.

For the other challenge please post the minutes you spend doing something with your spouse whether it be talking about his/her day or going for a stroll or just going to the movies. Post how long you spend each time doing things together and I will also post a winner at the end of the month.
